"..." I stayed silent, remembering the reason I escaped in the first place.
"You okay?"
"Hm? Oh, I'm fine."

"I need to tell you both something, but not here," I finally said. "We should talk somewhere more private."
"We could go to the interrogation rooms," suggested the bunny.
"Carrots," the fox began, "the second they the others see this kid, he'll never see the light of day again." That last part really wasn't necessary. The mere thought made me want to burst into tears.
"...I know a place," I said.
