Patricia walked daintily behind the two children in front of her she watched them walk along the hallways, leading her to the bathrooms even though she already knew where they were. Lillith was scoping the hallways with absolute focus on her face as she walked along the wall and stopped every time there was a scuff or shoe print on the floor. Her fingers were growing dirty as dust covered her fingertips, she had been dragging her hand along the wall and tracing out shapes on the floor which was almost never cleaned. Edgar on the other hand was walking in front of Patricia and directly to the right of the center of the hallway. He made very secure footing and the sound of his sneakers on the floor didn't change the slightest with each step. His hand were held out in front of him as he walked with his eyes squinted, he was trying to see past the areas that had been lit up by the flashlight, he was huffing lightly under his breath after running up the stairs and his face had been growing pinker by the minute.

"Are we almost there?" Patricia asked in a motherly tone as she had been walking at a rather slow pace due to how the kids were moving so slow,

"Oh yeah, We're almost past Ms. Lives room and them we'll be at the corner turn where the bathrooms are next to the main staircase." Lillith said, she had filled her simple response with unnecessary detail to prove that she had some idea of what she was doing and wasn't just dead weight,

"You two are gonna search the bathroom with diligence, right?" Edgar asked as he started to fumble with his hands, obviously growing uncomfortable.

"What do you mean?" Patricia asked as she took a few steps so that she was beside Edgar, "Won't you be looking with us?" She added before hearing a small snicker from Lillith,

"Uh no. I won't be." Edgar said with an obvious tone to his voice, "What were you thinking, that's the girls bathroom, I'm not allowed in there, I'm a boy.." He stressed obviously growing embarrassed to have to explain such a thing,

"Schools not going on Edgar you can walk in-"

"No I can't!" Edgar had stopped walking and so had everyone else, Lillith's snickers had stopped after Edgars outburst,

"Okay.." Patricia said as she knelt down next to him so that she could see his face, she placed her hand on his shoulders and his face went from overly tense to calm quickly, "It's fine if you don't want to go in, just promise me you won't leave from outside the bathrooms okay? We can't have another child go missing.." Her voice was calm and soothing and Edgar shook his head, he understood well,

"Yes ma'm." He said, his accent slurring one of his words. He wiped his eyes even though there were no tears and kept walking, Lillith and Patricia looked over at each other after catching eyes before Lillith shrugged,

"He doesn't usually act like this." She said in a stage whisper, Edgar's stance while walking tensed up for a few seconds before he kept walking. Patricia stood up and walked after him and Lillith stopped being so intricate and hurried after him too. After that the walk to the bathroom went fairly quickly and Lillith and Patricia walked inside after another short speech of 'please don't move' from Patricia.

Edgar stood outside and was rocking on his heels as his arms swayed at his side, he found himself humming a nursery rhyme, though he was very weary of how loud he was humming as he couldn't let Lillith hear him, that girl would never let him hear the end of him. Rolling his eyes to the thought he stopped humming as the door handle to the girl's bathroom shook, the door never opened and Edgar let out a few breathes and glances over his shoulders before he went back to the way he had been standing before, his shoulders were a bit more tensed up than before though he knew that the footsteps that were ringing through his ears could simply have been Harrison, who was searching the bottom floor.
