Song: eye of the storm by the X Ambassadors.
"This is hopeless." Laurel complained while sitting down on a bench nearby. She was looking for the angel Gabriel for 2 days now and still couldn't find him. She drank her bottle of water before looking around her. A thunder clap made her jump up.
"Hello." A soft voice says.
Laurel turned around and saw Jack standing there. She smiled before hugging him. He hugged back laying his head in the crock of her head. "Everyone has been looking for you where were you?" Laurel asks getting out of his grip.
"I was trying to control my powers."
"Well little brother so am I."
"I'm not your little brother."
"Okay, cousin." She replied smirking. "But why didn't you keep contact, we were worried sick."
"I could ask you the same thing."
"We're not talking about me right now."
"I'm sorry, I was afraid."
"You promised me that we wouldn't leave without telling each other."
"I'm sorry, but I can control my powers now."
Laurel her eyes went wide "You can? Can you teach me?"
"That's why I'm here, I can't save our family alone and you need to control your powers too."
"Well then I guess we have to get to work, I told Dean that we meet him at Bobby in 4 days."
"That is going to be hard, but I think we can manage."
"Maybe I am a great student."
"Let's hope, now we need to get out of here and I know the perfect place to go." Jack says placing a hand on Laurel her shoulder before they both disappeared."Where are we Jack?"
"You're in my safe place." A voice that Laurel hasn't heard before responds. She turned around to see a short man standing in front of her with a lollipop.
"Who are you?"
"You don't recognize your own uncle."
"Uncle Gabriel. I have heard so many things about you. Is it true you turned my uncle Sam in the Impala?"
"It's true and I can learn you how to do that too."
"Awesome, it has it perks being the niece of the trickster."
"Yeah but you aren't here for my tricks and schemes, you need to control your powers just like Jack and when we saved the others I will teach you both some tricks" Gabriel says winking.
"We have a deal, so what do we do first?"
"show me what you can."
"That is the thing, it only works when I'm triggered by something." Laurel replies.
"Jack, would you like to help out?" Gabriel asks him.
"Of course." Jack says walking towards Gabriel. Gabriel looked at me with a smirk before he stabbed Jack with his angel blade.
Laurel her eyes went wide and an ear-piercing scream came out of her mouth, lights began to flicker and the ground began to shake. Gabriel looked at her with a small smile on his face, before pulling the blade out. Laurel looked at Jack confused before she ran into his arms and sobbed quietly. Jack arms embraced her.
"Why would you do that?" Laurel sobbed.
"I needed to know what you can do and Jack isn't hurt, an angel blade can't kill him"
"Look at me Laurel, I'm fine." Jack says cracking a smile. Laurel let go of him and looked relieved when she saw her best friend unharmed.
"Can I survive that too?"
"We don't know, but we aren't going to try it." Jack says.
"So what is it that I can do?" Laurel asks Gabriel
"Well Jack, can create a rip in other worlds and all the other angel stuff. You on the other hand can control the earth."
"I don't understand."
"Let me rephrase it, you can control the ground."
"How?"
"when you were angry the ground was shaking."
"Okay so now that we know it, what is the next step."
"Clearly it is triggered by anger or sadness, we're going to create those moments and you try not to leash out, later you cannel all those feelings so you can use your powers at the time you want. Do you understand."
"Kind of."
"Everything will become clear, but let's start, Jack told me you only have four days." Gabriel says popping the lollipop back in his mouth.
