Chapter 20: She looks like you

While Laurel and Max recovered from their kiss, Maeve and the others were trying not to get caught by Lucifer and the demons who were helping him. Crowley was leading them the way through the building. Maeve looked around, it was to quiet for her taste. There was no light except for the flashlights from the group. She walked at the end of the row while her brothers where upfront with Castiel. Donna joined her.
"Maeve, what is wrong? You look tense." Donna asks her.
"Don't you think it is too quiet here?"
"I haven't thought about it." She replied but then she heard someone. It looked like it came from under them.
"Did you hear that?" Maeve asks Donna.
"No." Donna responded.
Maeve her eyes widened and she ran to the front of the group. She grabbed Castiel his hand and pushed him against the wall. "Everyone against the wall now." She yelled. A few seconds later the floor disappeared. Jo was too late , she fell down but Dean grabbed her just in time. Dean and Sam pulled her up.

Maeve looked around to see if everyone was safe.
"Maeve look down." Castiel says to her. Maeve her gaze went to the hole and at the bottom she saw two figures walking, a boy and a girl. She recognized the girl as her own daughter.
"That can't be Laurel, she is safe at Bobby." Maeve responds raising her eyebrow. "Charlie, is Laurel still with you guys?" she asked through her earpiece.
"She went upstairs with the others when you left and hasn't come down since." Charlie answered.
"Can you please check, if she is still there?" Maeve requested slightly worried. She knew her daughter well and it wouldn't surprise her if she hasn't listen to her, because it wouldn't be the first time that she ignored her commands.
"Rufus checked and Jack said she was showering in the bathroom." Charlie tells her.
"Where are the witch twins?"
"Alicia is in the kitchen and we don't know where Max is." Garth says taking over.
"Have you guys heard the shower run?"
It was quiet for a moment before Garth replied "No, there was no water running according to Rufus."
"Jack lied, She is here."
"Then why did you ask us to check is she was here?" Garth asks
"Because we needed to be sure." Maeve responds "I have to go, try to call her."
"on it." Garth says. Maeve looked at Castiel.
"It is Laurel." Maeve replied.
"Of course, she looks like her mother." He says.
"Well not following the rules , is your expertise Cas."
"Guys what is going on over there?" Sam shouted at Maeve and Castiel.
"Laurel, is here." Castiel responded.
"What? How? Where?"
"Down there Sam." Maeve says pointing at Max and Laurel.
"Should we call out for her?" Jody asks.
"No, in that way we give her and our position away, the others are trying to call her." Castiel responds.
"Then what do we do now?" Dean asks.
"We keep going." Crowley says walking further with his back faced to the wall, trying not to fall. The others followed. Maeve looked down one more time before following the group.
