Chapter 22: Bad news

"Can you dears unchain me?" Rowena asks raising her arms, to show them her chains.
"Why would we do that?" Laurel shot back.
"Because you seem like a nice girl."
"Well I am tougher than I seem." Laurel says.
"That is why I asked you to unchain me."
"First tell us what you're doing here?" Max cuts in.
"Obviously playing prisoner." She sneered at them
"We can see that, but why are you here in the first place?" Laurel responded.
"One word, Lucifer."
"Okay, if we free you out of this chains can you help us defeat him?" Laurel asks. Rowena smirked and raised her cuffs
"Laurel, are you sure you don't even know her." Max says.
"We can get all the help that we can get."
"But she must be chained for a reason."
"Yeah I am a witch, this cuffs won't allow me to use magic." Rowena cuts in
"Max, we are freeing her. We can't leave her tied up"
"I don't trust her."
"Still here and locked up." Rowena responds. Max glared at her but nodded. Laurel went over and undid her chains. Rowena stood up and smiled. "Let's kill the devil."

Rowena walked infront of them leading the way. Max was watching her like a hawk. He still didn't trust her. He found it weird that this strange woman was alone and tied up in a room that wasn't even locked. His gaze went to Laurel who was walking infront of him, He saw her hair bouncing with every step she made. He remembered her soft lips on his and her hands roaming through his hair. It immediately put a smile on his face. He was still looking at her when his cellphone vibrated. He fished it out his pocket and looked at the caller id. He didn't even know that he had reception down here. He picked up his phone and was greeted by the voice of his sister.
"I'm sorry." She says before her phone was taken by some one else.
"Alicia? Are you there?" Max asks slightly panicked.
"Yes she is here, but how can you be so stupid." The voice of Rufus boomed through the phone.
"Rufus? What are you talking about?" Max asks him.
"You took Laurel , to the only person who wants to hurt her." He replies.
"That is why I went with her, otherwise she would go on her own."
"Max, I can't believe what I am going to say, but you can't leave her out of your sight, understand? Her parents know that she is here too, so try to find them." Rufus tells him. Max looked infront of him but Laurel and Rowena were both gone.
His eyes searched for them frantically. "She is gone." He says tot Rufus.
"What do you mean she is gone?"
"We were with this witch, who we saved and when I looked up she wasn't here."
"WHAT HOW CAN YOU LET THAT HAPPEN." Rufus yelled but then the phone was yanked out of his hand and now Charlie was on the other side of the line.
"Who was the witch?" Charlie asks Max.
"She said her name was Rowena. Why can't she be trusted?"
"Well she is the mother from Crowley and always does things in her best interested, so if Lucifer made a deal with her, Laurel is in danger. You have to find the others and search for Laurel before it is too late." Charlie says. Max ended the call and ran into the darkness looking for Laurel.
