Chapter 40

Chapter 40: Queen Toriel

Yep finally getting tori in the book. Plus I like her dress in the media above I think that's what she'll wear in this.

Jordie just continues to drive not wanting to look back even though it was painful for her not to do it. She didn't know where to go only knew that she'll just drive until she found a place just for her the bitties and hime.

"Mama where are we going?" cherry asked

"I-I don't know cherry we'll find a home for us to live"

"but what about pap ma?"

"Let's just forget about pap now. He chose work over me and our daughter plus soon to be daughter"

"I thought you loved him mama?"

"I use to but not anymore he knows what he's done to deserve this"

She looks at the fuel tank "uh-oh looks like we're running out of gas. There's a gas station up ahead we can stop there and get some and maybe some food until we find a home again"

They get to the gas station Jordie gets out of the car filling up the tank before going into the gas station to get food for themselves. Walking in she gets all the food that she can taking it up to the counter.

"I'd like to buy all of this please"

"okay ma'am that'll be 300.25"

"what? I don't have that much how about 100?"

"sorry ma'am but you got to pay the full price"

"come on please I just left my husband and me, bitties, and daughter don't have anywhere to go so I need as much food as I can to feed ourselves until I find a new home"

Just then a goat like monster walked up to her "Excuse me miss did you say you don't have anywhere to go?" she asked politely

Jordie nodded "yeah I just broke up with my husband and I don't want to go back to him"

"well if you don't have anywhere else to go you can stay with me if you want"

"really?! Thank you ma'am that's really kind of you by the way what's your name?"

"oh my name's Toriel or you can call me tori just follow me and I'll take you to my home"

*With pap*

He was still sitting on the couch with a tear coming down his face getting up he punched the wall "DAMMIT DAMMIT TO HELL" pap takes out his phone calling Jordie of course she doesn't answer but he leaves a message anyway

"Hey babe *sighs* look I'm real sorry for not coming home early like I promised... please come back I want to hold you in my arms and see our daughter again I love you so much please, please come back I-I p-promise everything will be different sweetie... that's all I have to say I love you both  bye..."

He hangs up before going to his room. Taking a picture off the table next to his bed showing a picture of both of them being happy. Another tear leaves his eye putting it back he sits on the bed laying down "goodnight babe I love you"

"no I'm not going to lose you baby" pap quickly gets up running to his car getting in it. Starting it up driving away like the speed of life to find the ones he loves.

*Back with Jordie and tori*

They made it back to tori's home as she welcomes them in. "please make yourself at home I'll go make some tea for you" Tori walks away to go fix the tea for them.

Jordie looks around at her home that looks warm and welcoming "t-this looks so nice what do you guys think?"

"I like it mama it was really nice to have her let us stay"

"I don't really care I miss our home ma"

"Brass don't be rude this nice women has welcomed us to her home. We can't go back you know even to the family because I'm sure they'll just straight up tell pap where I am"

"fair point"

Tori was making the tea as her phone rang she picked it up answering it "hello? Oh papyrus nice to here from you how have you been doing"

"Not good tori I just lost my wife and I'm out looking for her. Think you can give me a call if you see her?"

"sure thing papyrus what does she look like?"

"well I can tell you everything about her that makes her beautiful but just look for a women with black cat ears"

"okay I'll keep a eye out for her. Now I need to go I'm serving this nice young lady tea"

"alright bye tori"

"bye~" she hangs up taking the tea to Jordie and the bitties.

"here you go ma'am sorry it took awhile I got a call from a friend of mine who lost his wife. Like how you lost your husband"

"Aw I'm so sorry for him" Jordie takes a sip of her tea "what does she look like maybe we can help find her"

"well he only said that she has black cat ears like... yours..."

Jordie nearly choked on her tea "um... maybe it might be another women with black cat ears"

"miss is it you that my friend is looking for?"

"No I'm sure pap is looking for another women with cat ears"

"aha I never said his name."

Jordie sighs "fine yeah it's me"

"I thought so your child is a skeleton with cat ears. Even if he didn't tell me about your ears I think your daughter gives it away the most" she picks up hime as the child crawled past her legs. "why did you run away from papyrus? From what my ex-husband told me he's a real nice guy that tells good jokes"

"yeah he does... but he's also I guy that chose his work over his family! We hardly get to spend time together as is and today I gave him the choice to come home early or we're threw he didn't come back like he promised so I left."

"Well if he chose work over you then why would he be out looking for you?"

"He's looking for me?"

"yeah he's real worried and wants you home ma'am so will you go home to him"

Jordie sighs again "I might but I really need some time to take a break. Is it alright if I just stay here with you for tonight or a couple days?"

"sure but I don't think you should keep papyrus waiting for long. Sooner or later he might just give up on you"

"I know but until then just don't tell him I'm here. It'd be nice to just clear my mind on everything"

Tori nods "okay you have my word" she picks up the teacup putting them on the tray giving hime back over to Jordie "I'll just clean these now" she walks back to the kitchen. Looking out the window by the sink at the dark night sky "hope you don't give up papyrus your wife seems like a nice women not to let go unlike me and Asgore..." tori wipes a small tear away from her eye missing her husband when they were married.

Woo this was long chapter to do with out the characters singing. I do hope that I got tori correct because sometimes I don't think I get most characters correct. Kind of like Pap since he doesn't say puns or tells horrible jokes I can only think that he did it once and that was it! I think that I just changed his character to much but it's just how I feel.
