Chapter 51: Sisterly talk

Jordie decided to invite Marissa over to talk about the little argument with pap while she was unconscious. She set some drinks out for the her and Marissa the door bell rung she got up and went over opening it happy to see her sister.

"hey~ Marissa I've missed you!"

Marissa didn't really have a happy look on her face "yeah hey Jordie" she walked in and sat down on the couch. "So why did you invite me here sis?" Marissa looked at her nails like she was late for something else to do.

"I just wanted to talk with you about what happened with pap"

"oh well that jerk of a husband should have known you were depressed sis. I mean to try and kill the child you had with him!" she drinks the soda in front of her "He really should of seen the signs if you ask me"

"Well he's quite busy with his new job Marissa he can't be here all the time"

Marissa looked at her setting the drink down "oh I see"

"Yeah he's just busy and all it wasn't his fault it's mine for thinking of giving myself an abortion"

"So your basically saying that it isn't your husband's fault for making you want to kill yourself and your kids?"

"Y-yes I am"

Marissa started to feel betrayed by her sister "Let me ask you this sis if you had your choice who'd you pick me or papyrus?"

Jordie had a confused face "Marissa what kind of question is that"

Marissa shrugged "so you'd pick papyrus"

"Sis I didn't say that"

"Jordie look at the facts since pap came into your life it's been hell. You've been in the hospital for god knows how many times and last time it was more serious I think you should just divorce him"

Jordie gasped hearing her sister say that "Marissa your not acting well you're not my sister I remember" Marissa got up and walked to her close to her face "it's pap isn't it he's corrupted didn't he?"

"no Marissa you got the wrong idea"

"You know what sis. If you can't see what's in front of you, you aren't going to be apart of my life anymore. Don't come to my wedding, stay away from my future kids, don't visit me, talk to me, or even call me" Marissa backs away before leaving slamming the door shut.

Jordie sighed wiping her eyes trying to not cry the bitties came up to her brass gets on her shoulder "Well that didn't turn out good ma"

"I know..."

"Don't worry we're here for you mama" cherry hugs her hand 

"Thank you sweeties. Though I guess we can't celebrate Easter this year with each other" She looks at the clock "Pap should be home soon I should start making dinner no meat though. It's a few weeks before Easter and Catholics can't eat meat on Fridays before Easter" (It's actually true Because I'm Catholic and Fridays before Easter my family really doesn't eat any meat for dinner)

"Think you can handle that brassy?" cherry asks

Brass sighs "I guess so it is ma's religion"

Jordie giggles as she starts to make dinner having the baby monitor next to her incase the babies start to cry which was surprising they didn't when the door  was slammed "Guess they take the sleeping thing from pap's side" she pulled out her ingredients making some cheese quesadillas for everyone.
