Chapter 5 : Now a sick wife

A with days later pap got better but unfortunately though it seemed that his cold spread to Jordie. Who was now the one laying in bed pap was determined to make sure that she should get better to make sure that the baby would stay healthy as well.

With the bitties staying by her side to make sure that she stays okay. Jordie really didn't like being sick being pregnant is one thing but being sick and pregnant is a real bad combination to have for her, Cherry rubbed her cheek saying "Don't worry mama you'll be okay" also giving her a kiss to making her smile.

"Aw thank you cherry *Sneezes* that makes me feel a lot better"

"really? Enough to make you not sick anymore mama"

"Not that much but enough to keep my hopes up that *coughs* I will get better"

Cherry smiled liking that he made his mama happy. Maestro and brass were getting a damp cloth to but on her forehead to keep her temperature down "Maestro I don't get how we're going to lift this" brass said

"Don't you have magic brother brass?"

"Yeah"

"Well maybe you can use your magic to lift the cloth out of the water bowl and put it on her forehead"

"hmmm alright fine but if this goes south I blame you"

"seems fair enough brother brass"

So brass used his magic to take the cloth out of the bowl and gentle placed it on Jordie's head. Pap then came in with some leftover oatmeal to give to her to make her feel like she did with him.

"Hey babe I brought you some breakfast I know it's just oatmeal but I thought it would make you better like it did me"

Jordie smiled "thank you pap" she was about to take the bowl from him but he pushed her back down

"here let me feed you sweetheart" taking the spoon and feeding her.

"mm thanks papy but you don't have to feed me I can do it myself"

"aw but I want to it gives you more time to rest"

Jordie sighs "okay *coughs*" as she let's pap continue to feed her

Looking down at her stomach she says "does that taste good little one" smiling. Pap put the bowl down and rubbed her stomach "your going to love it when you come out soon. I bet you'll be beautiful like your mommy"

"oh I felt a little kick. Guess they liked what you said about them honey"

Pap leaned down close to her stomach "did you like what daddy said huh. I promise I'm going to make sure that I protect you, mommy and the bitties" he said

Jordie smiled "You really are going to be a great dad"

Pap smiled back "and Your going to be a great mom"

Jordie then yawns "hey I'm starting to get a little tried can I sleep for a bit"

"sure babe just let us know if you need anything"

"will do my love" Jordie then closed her eyes falling asleep while pap, maestro, and brass left cherry didn't want to leave her alone climbing up onto her stomach he whispered to the baby "New baby when the time comes please don't hurt mama when you come out please. I don't want you to hurt her, she's very nice and kind I just don't want her to go through anymore pain"

He continued saying "she's very pretty, when you meet her you'll love her and papa... You'll see her smile just please don't hurt her" Cherry closed his eyes and slept with Jordie on her stomach.
