Chapter Seven
"Hey we're here. Wake up," someone shook my shoulder gently. I opened my eyes slowly. Apparently, I nodded off while we were leaving. I still had the damned headache, but I didn't feel as bad. Dean still looked almost worried.
"Hey," I yawned. I sat up. "So we're at the motel?"
"Yeah," Dean said. Day was still asleep on the floor. I got out of the car and called her. She picked her head up sleepily and then jumped out after me. I followed Dean into the motel and then into the room.
"So what's in this town anyway?" I asked.
"Well we're not sure about that," Sam said. "We think it's a coven, but at every crime scene, they had this insignia." He turned the screen to show me a pentagram with two circles around it and a line across it drawn in blood.
"Covens don't have anything like that," I stated.
"Cults do," Dean spoke up. "Come on Sam." I got up.
"What do you think you're doing?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Going."
"You're not coming on a hunt. Not now."
"But," I protested.
"No arguing. You're staying."
Both of the brothers walked out the door and shut it. I glared at the door. Then Day came to sit on my lap. Of course, this is what would happen.
It had been twelve hours, and Sam and Dean still didn't come back to the motel. I was sprawled on the bed on my back. I picked up my phone and then called Dean.
It rang once. Twice. Three times. Then Dean answered.
"Samantha," he said with urgency.
"What's going on? Where are you guys?" I asked.
"Look don't do anything. Stay in the motel. Samm-" He cut off. My eyes widened and I started to track the GPS on Dean's phone. I got the location, a old theatre a couple blocks from where I was. Day started to follow me out of the door. I closed it in her face then started to run towards the theatre with a knife in my pocket.
Dean's POV
Sam and I were captured by the cult of witches. Yeah, cult of witches. They used a spell to unwillingly bring people into their cult. I was pretty sure they were just going to kill us though. Sam was almost close to getting us out of the room. Then we heard a scream. This made Sam work faster, and soon we were bounding up the stairs. I saw only two people in the room. The main bitch that was in charge of this cult was blocking the way to see the second. I pulled out my gun and shot her in the back of the head. She fell and the other girl fell to her knees. Her hand clutched her stomach as if she had been stabbed. She looked up to me and gave a strangled cry. I recognized her immediately.
Samantha.
