Samantha's POV

"Daddy?" I gasped as I snapped my eyes open. I sat up quickly as flowers and grass surrounded me. Okay, something wasn't right here at all. My hands went to my stomach and saw no blood and felt no pain. On god I was dead wasn't I?

"Sammy," I heard someone say behind me. It was a voice I knew immediately.

"Momma?" I asked as I turned to her. There she was, Lanie Beckett. She was wearing a dress that had a lace black top and a royal blue skirt. Her black hair fell to her shoulders in perfect curls, and her blue eyes lit up at the sight of me. "I'm dead aren't I?" I asked. Mom smiled and shook her head embracing me in a huge hug. I hugged her back, burying my face into her chest.

"No baby, not yet, I won't let you. You've got to stay with your daddy okay?" she whispered into my ear. "Things are going to start to get really dangerous for you, and I don't think I can protect you." I looked over her shoulder to see a beautiful garden. Fruit of gold hung from the trees and beautiful flowers of different kind were in abundance.

"Where are we?" I gasped. My mother beamed.

'We're in Eden honey," she smiled.

"Eden?! Like Adam and Eve Eden?" I asked uncertainly. She nodded.

"Here let's talk." She took my hand and led me down the path. My hand brushed along the rose bushes, pricking my finger by their thorns. I brought my hand back quickly and my index finger started to bleed.

"How are we here?" I asked.

"That doesn't matter, what matters is that you are in danger."

"Yeah, I'm dying," I said.

"No not that, you will survive this, but powerful people will be after you soon. When did you turn thirteen?" she asked.

"A couple months ago, why?" I raised an eyebrow.

She turned around and ran her fingers through her hair. "It's closer than I thought."

"Momma what's going on?" I asked. I had to admit, I was a bit scared.

"You need to go quickly," she said.

"Go where? Momma?!"

"I'm sorry baby, I'll see you soon." She gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"No wait," I said. I wanted to stay here for a while. I wanted to tell her everything. She put a hand to my forehead.

"I'm sorry."

I woke up to blinding lights.

Dean's POV

"Sammy!" I yelled as she sat up with a gasp and then clutched her stomach.

"Daddy," she whimpered. I couldn't help myself. I ran up to her and gave her the biggest hug that I possibly could.

"Shh baby it's okay," I said and kissed her temple.

"No, I saw my mom. She told me-" I hugged her tighter.

"It was just a dream okay?" I said. She nodded into my shoulder. "Everything is going to be okay." I heard my duffel bag move restlessly.

"What the hell is that?" Sammy asked.

"I brought someone for you." I opened the bag and Day ran to Samantha. She laughed as the puppy jumped onto the bed, licking her face happily.

"Okay! Okay enough," she giggled and held the dog. She whined happily, wiggling her tail. Samantha petted her and yawned.

"Maybe you should get some rest," I said picking up the dog from her lap. Samantha nodded and laid down. She closed her eyes and immediately fell asleep. I smiled at her and leaned over her kissing her forehead and moving some hair out of her eyes. "Goodnight Sammy," I whispered before sitting on the chair by her bed. Day sat on the floor looking up at me. "Oh come on," I sighed. She barked happily and jumped on my lap.

"Good dog."
