i woke up to luke's loud ass singing coming from downstairs. i stretched, and got out of bed. i switch my sweats with black, ripped skinny jeans. it picked up my flannel from yesterday and put it too my nose. the mixture of sweat and nicotine were on the shirt. dropping it back to the floor, i walk into luke's room. i opened his closet and found a deep red flannel. i took it off the hanger and put on and button it, leaving the few buttons on the top undone. although i was suppose to wear uniform, the teachers had given up trying to get me to wear it. i walk back to my room and put on my black and beat up vans. i walked into the bathroom and saw my eyes not as red and dark as last night. i brush my teeth and walk out of the bathroom.

"are we ditching today?" luke asked as i came into the kitchen.

"sure. it's not like we don't do every other day." i laughed. this is my life. smoking, getting into fights, and ditching class.

luke and i grabbed out pack of cigarettes and our backpacks and left the house. i got into the passenger seat, as luke got into the drivers. during the drive, i was tapping my fingers on my knee to the beat to whatever song was playing.

it didn't seem like a long time until we reached a big brick building. luke and i got out of the and met up with the two other boys, calum and ashton, on the side of the school. i put a cigarette between my lips and lit it, cupping the end. i saw girls who either were looking at me with trying to be look seductive and had their uniform shirt unbuttoned and their skirts too high, and only wanted me to have sex with them. or girls who were terrified of me, and keeping their distance.

luke and i were joined with calum and ashton. both having a cigarette between their lips.

we made small talk for about fifteen minutes and then the bell rang. we dropped our cigarettes to the floor and grabbed our backpacks. we all started making our way through the halls of hell.

i told the boys which period we were ditching. they all nodded and we parted ways.

fifth period rolled around slowly but surely. i raised my hand asking to go the bathroom. i grabbed my backpack and made my way outside of the building. i saw the boys leaning against the wall. i make my way to the boys and leave campus. we made our way to a local diner to eat. we sat at the booth in the very back.

as we were finishing up, i got out of the booth to take a smoke break. i opened the glass door and started to take out a cigarette and a lighter. i put the death stick between my lips and was walking to the side of the diner. i was about to lit the cigarette until me eyes saw a small figure sitting against the wall. i light the stick and inhaled. i make my way to the girl sitting against the wall. her long hair covering was covering her face, and she was wearing a uniform that looked very similar to the ones at my school. as i sat down beside her, she turned her head. her eyes looking into mine. she didn't say anything or do anything. she just turned her head away from me and just stayed sitting there.

after about ten minutes of sitting there in complete silence, she finally turned her head again and spoke.

"Can I try that?"
