Luna's POV

The next day, I sent Crow off with my letter to the Malfoys, before I went to Umbridge's office for detention. I wrote fast so I could get as much done and ignore the pain in my hand.  The faster I wrote the more the pain lessened. It had to keep up with how fast I was writing. Once detention was over, I showed her my hand.

She smiled her sickly sweet smile. "Congratulations, Miss. Crow, you have my permission to skip tomorrow's detention for another two weeks added. Good luck."

I grinned. "Thank you so much, Professor Umbridge!" I ran out of the room and to my father's office. He was grading homework as I entered.

"Thank you! She is letting me skip tomorrow for Quidditch." I hugged him.

He chuckled and hugged me back. "Are you going to tell Draco?"

"If I get on the team. He can't make it to try outs so he won't know I'm there."

"Well, good luck. I'm sure you will do great with what I have seen at practices."

I smiled. "Thanks, well, I'm gonna go do homework before going to sleep."

I walked into the Slytherin dorms and up the prefect room stairs. Draco was sleeping on an open book, laying on his stomach with the book as his pillow. I chuckled quietly to myself, walking forward, lifting Draco's head up slightly so I could pull the book out from underneath him. He stirred as I placed his head back down but stayed asleep. Marking his page, I sett the book down on his nightstand. Walking over to the desk, I grabbed my bag and pulled out my transfiguration homework. They were swamping us with work and on top of that, I was falling behind because of detention.

The thought of it made my blood boil. I rolled my shoulders back as they tensed quickly after the first thought. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. My eyes burned and red flashed in the corner of my vision. Groaning, I placed the heels of my hands onto my forehead. My stomach churned with anxiety as my heart pounded louder and louder.

"SHUT UP!" I roared, shoving my notebook of the desk. Draco shot up at the loud noise.

"What's wrong?"

I slammed my hands on the table, standing up. The rushing of blood mixed in with my heartbeat. "Make it stop!"

The small noises of the room intensified. With each noise, my temper rose. Draco's voice was over powered by everything else.

"Luna! Fuck it. I'll be right back! It's going to be alright!"

The door opened and shut. I curled down onto the floor, tucking my knees into my chest. I clamped my hands over my ears, trying to shut everything out, letting out a loud yell.

Sitting down, I tucked my head, using my legs as a sound barrier and wrapping my arms around my head. My breath caught in my throat. What was happening to me? Why was everything stronger?

The door opened again as my lids drooped shut. My vision blurred as figures ran in.

"Help me..." My eyes fully shut as I passed out.

I woke up in the hospital wing the next day. Madam Pompfrey was giving someone headache medicine. I took a deep breath, raising a hand to my pounding head.

"What happened?" I croaked as loud as I could, trying to sit up.

Madame Pompfrey quickly came over, grabbing a tray of equipment. "Relax, sweetheart. Just relax. Here is some medicine for your head." She handed my a cup and a glass of water.
