Pulling my sleeves down over my hands making sweater-paws, I walked into the Slytherin dormitory. I had just gotten back from Hogsmeade and I figured the sooner Draco knew what I had done, the sooner we could get to work.
"Hey Loony, what brings you here?" Blaise asked.
"I'm a Slytherin...can't I hang- Alright, I'm looking for your best friend."
He shot me a 'tell me the truth' look.
"Who?"
I sighed. "Draco Malfoy? Tall, blonde...probably mutter Potter or my father will hear about this? Maybe not so much the last one but..."
"OH! You mean sulky boy up in his room muttering how much of an idiot he is?"
I slowly nodded and turned towards the stairs. Leaving Blaise in the common room, I ran up the stairs and to Draco's room. I quietly shut the door behind me and locked it before casting a soundproofing spell.
"What are you doing?" Draco asked, sitting up in his bed. I muttered the spell. "You aren't going to kill me, right?"
I giggled. "No, Dray. But I can't have anyone hearing me or walking in."
"Why? What are you-" I rolled up my sleeve. "Luna Crow Snape, please tell me that's marker."
I shook my head. Draco stood up, running a hand through his hair and started pacing.
"Why did you do it? Why did you do something so...so...so dumb!"
I flinched slightly at his tone. "To help you."
"To-huh?" He stopped walking and looked over at me.
"I could see what the weight of this task was doing to you, so I figured this would be the only "safe" way to help." I made quotation marks with my fingers when I said the word 'safe'. Draco opened up his mouth to speak but I continued, not giving him the chance.
"I know it isn't exactly safe, but this way I know what the task is and I am allowed too. The Dark Lord said I am only to help you with the cabinet and that's it. You have to be the one to do the hardest part."
Draco stared at me for a moment before taking two steps forward. His warm hands cupped my face as his soft, full, smooth, delicious, pink lips captured mine.
I found myself kissing back. My arms snaked around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. Our lips moved in sync against each other. My fingers slipped into his hair, playing with the ends as his tongue swiped across my bottom lips asking for entrance. Immediately giving entrance, I almost moaned as his tongue rubbed itself against mine.
"Draco, Draco, stop." I mumbled, pulling away.
"What, why?"
"You broke up with me, remember? Not to mention cheated on me." He shook his head. "You don't remember?"
Chuckling, he shook his head. "No, I remember but I never cheated." My eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
"You're making no sense, boy." Draco smiled and rested his hands on my hips, rubbing circles softly against them.
"I lied. I lied about cheating. That means I lied about "them" being better...who ever them is." My eyes were wide as I stared up at him.
"And the-"
"Like about saying the dream was made up. It totally happened and I loved every single minute-no, second of that dream."
"B-but what about the godfather-"
"I am truly sorry for saying that. I didn't mean it. It took a lot of saying it to myself to say it to you."
"Why did you say it then?"
"Because I needed you to hate me. I needed you to hate me so much you would move on. I only broke up with you cause It wasn't safe you to be with me. I knew what I would be doing over the summer. He would've used you against me. It doesn't matter now, I guess. All that matters is I am sorry for everything I did. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Am I getting my message across?"
I giggled.
"I don't know. Are you sorry?"
"I am as sorry as much as you love bands."
I smiled. "Then yes, your message has been received."
Draco curled upwards.
"Good. Now on to the more important business..." He leaned down to kiss me. I put up to fingers so he kissed them instead.
"Nope." Draco opened his eyes, seeing that he was kissing my fingers and not me.
"What?" He pouted.
"Do you still like me?"
Draco stared at me with a blank face. "Like you? No." My face fell. "
Love you? To the moon and back." I blushed as a lips curved into a 100-watt smile. "I never stopped loving you, bunny. It hurt seeing you with Weasley all cheerful. It was extremely painful when you handed back the necklace and ring. I wore everything you gave me twenty-four-seven. I am truly so-"
I cut him off with a kiss. "Dray, I get it. You're sorry. I understand."
"Will you love me? For ever and ever?" He spoke like a baby and pouted down at me.
My heart melted at his innocent face. "I will love you to the moon and back."
He smiled. "I will love you to the moon and back...i'll go farther if you ask me too."
I laughed. "You are too cute." I said, shoving him backwards onto the bed. His eyes widened as he toppled back.
"Wha-" I crawled on top of him straddling his hips Draco's hands latched onto my hips.
"W-w-what about t-t-the cabinet?"
I smirked. "That can wait a bit. We have more important business to do."
