The next night after dinner, Harry and I went to detention. I complained the whole way there.

"I really hope she agreed to give me another week of detention for letting me go to Quidditch tryouts."

Harry chuckled. "Yeah, I hope I can ask for another week as well. Angelina is mad at me. She wanted the entire team there for Quidditch tryouts."

I hummed and nodded. "Understandable. Great, we have arrived to hell.  I reckon hell actually is better than this though..."

Harry shook his head before following me in.

"Oh good, you both are here. You will be writing lines for me." Umbridge gestured to two desks beside her as we walked in.

"Professor, I was wondering if Professor Snape has talked to you about my detention?" I asked politely, as I sat down.

Umbridge took a sip of tea as she looked over at me. "How much do you care about Quidditch?"

"I'm willing to do more than a week more of detention so I can go to tryouts."

Harry looked at me surprised. Umbridge smiled sweetly.

"I think two extra weeks is enough...but we will see how this week goes. You have tryouts on Thursday, correct?" I nodded. "Behave and I'll think about it."

I smiled. "Thank you so much, Professor."

I went to get out a quill but she stopped me. "You won't be needed a quill, you will use one of mine."

I stopped and looked up at her confused, but slowly sat back up in the chair. She handed Harry and I both a quill, before walking around us to look out the window.

"Both of you will write I must not tell lies," She instructed.

"May we have some ink?" I asked.

She giggled quietly. "You will not be needing ink."

I looked at Harry, shrugging. Harry and I both started writing. I quickly scribbled out my first line, but stopped when a burning sensation flashed through my left hand. I gasped, dropping the quill. Clenching my teeth, I held my left hand to my chest.

"Is there something wrong, Miss. Snape?"

I fought back the urge to yell or glare at her. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Harry gasped as the same thing happened to him.

"Nothing is wrong, Professor."

We wrote and wrote until it was dark out. Umbridge stopped us and examined our hands.

"Looks like I haven't seemed to make a point. I guess we will have to try again tomorrow." She dismissed us and we left her office. It was silent as we walked the hallways.

"Good night," I mumbled, before heading to the Slytherin dorms.

When I got in my room, Draco was laying on the bed doing homework. I wasn't going to tell him about what happened. It was nothing for him to bother or worry about.

"Hey, babe. How was detention?"

I ignored him and walked into the bathroom. I shut and locked the door before getting out a first aid kit that the room supplied, hissing quietly as I cleaned and bandages the carved words. Looking in the mirror, I wiped my eyes, making sure there were no tears before cleaning up the kit and putting it away. I walked out of the room and changed into one of Draco's shirts before crawling into bed.

Draco finished his homework and put everything away. He laid down and I rolled over to looked at him. Draco brushed my hair from in front of my face to behind my ear, smiling at me and staring lovingly.

"You're beautiful, you know that?"

My lips twitched as I fought back a smile. "You may have mentioned it...but I'm a potato."

Draco placed his hand on my cheek and lightly stroked it. "You are not a potato...you are a beautiful rose."

I smiled and scooted closer to him. "Thank you, Draco."

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head. "No need to thank me, princess."

Guilt started eating at me. Do I tell him? He might freak out. Okay, he would freak out. He doesn't need too. I can handle this on my own.

"Hey, whats this on your hand?" Draco asked, rubbing the bandage.

"Uh, nothing..."

"Luna..."

"Draco..."

"Show me!"

"No!" I got up and ran.

Draco grabbed my waist and pulled me back.  "Luna, please show me!" I sighed and stopped struggling. Draco slowly removed the bandage. He gasped when he saw my hand. "Oh, bunny..."

"That's what detention with Umbridge is like..."

"Bunny, you need to show your father," He softly said, bringing my hand up to his lips and kissing the scars.

"No, I can't."

"Fine, but at least letter my father and mother about it."

I looked around the room. "I guess..."

Draco smiled smally, before pulling me towards him. He placed his hands on my hips and lightly drew circled with his thumbs.

"I love you. I didn't mean to pressure you into showing me what happened, but i'm a worried boyfriend."

I looked up at him, tears forming in my eyes. "I love you too, Draco. I understand..."

He leaned down and kissed me. When he pulled away, he pecked my lips one last time, before pulling me over to the desk. He sat down and pulled me onto his lap.

"Just explain what happened...they already know what happened in class."

I pulled out a piece of parchment and started writing, reading what I am writing out loud.

Dear Lucy and Narci, (Draco laughed when I said Lucy.)

You both know what happened in Umbridge's class. Today I had my first detention with her. I don't know if you know what she does in detention. She has these quills that when you write it carves into your skin, so basically you are writing with your own blood.

So guess what I have to do for three or so weeks...

Love,

Luna the troublemaker

Draco kissed the back of my neck as I put the letter in the envelope.

"I'll mail this in the morning. I'm exhausted." I stood up and laid back down on the bed. Draco joined me and pulled me towards him.

"Get some sleep..."

I snuggled closer and closed my eyes, letting sleep take over my body.
