Love of A Mercenary: A Iron fist and White Tiger Fanfiction

Iron Fist POV

            I saw the white spotted girl jump down from the apartments balcony. I reached to catch her, but she was too far. Then with reflexes faster than I could blink, the girl took out a whip and swung up into the sky finally landing on a nearby building. She looked back at me, her amethyst eyes flashing blue and ran into downtown NYC.
             I ran downstairs and saw the others had suited up already. I also suited up really quick and walked into the living room. There I saw Jade sporting the White Tiger outfit, her golden eyes surveying the scene oddly.
           "Ok what's the plan?" Spider-Man asked. "We take her down and bring her to Fury?" I shook my head. She'd be expecting that.
           "We should chase and confront her. We need to know who she's working for." I said. Nova groaned.
           "Ok so a normal villain takedown? Piece of cake." Nova shot into the sky, not waiting for a second answer. Power man followed close behind with Squirrel-Girl. Cloak and Dagger teleported out of the room with Spidey, leaving me and Jade alone.
           "Iron Fist listen to me. The Snow Leopard is a mercenary yes, but she'd never harm anyone." Jade pleaded.
          "How would you know anything about her Jade? This is the same person who's been stalking both of us and your sister. We need to take her down." I hopped out the window.        Behind me Jade reluctantly followed, grumbling. "Oh you have no idea."

         The team chased the Snow Leopard across Downtown, many times almost catching her but still always failing. She was a smart one, seeming to know our moves before they happened. Which meant she thought we were predictable. Which means...
          I broke off from the team with a quick nod to Nova, Spidey, and Powerman who understood and also broke off from the team. We each decided to intercept her at the edge of a building, therefore cornering her between us and the other team.
          By the time I got the intercept point, Powerman was already working on fighting the Leopard. She was cunning and kept evading his punches easily. He missed her again, this time she stabbed a throwing star into his shoulder and kicked him away.
         Spidey and Nova also tried to subdue her together. Spidey's webs almost had her, but she used it to her advantage and swung Spidey into an oncoming Nova. That knocked them both out. She turned around to jump off the building and I ran to tackle her. That's when the world fell around me.
