My heart hammered against my ribcage. It penetrated my mind, not allowing me to proceed with any rational thinking. I could hear voices echo at the back of my mind but I was too out of it to process what they were saying.

"H-Harley..." I stammered

Her eyes, oh her eyes. They were wide just like her mouth which was gasping for air, her muscles tensing and sweat running down her forehead.

She screamed and squirmed trying to get the so needed help that I couldn't provide her with.

"Guard!" I called, my hands now on her cell door trying to rattle it open.

No answer from the scum.

The hammering in my chest increased trying to process everything and everyone. My mind ran around trying to find something to grasp onto and help her.
By no means I tried to make matters worse but that was exactly what was going on. My worst nightmare was coming true, I couldn't help her.

In the far distance I could hear clicking of the heels approaching me rapidly.

My eyes dated back to Harley. "Try and breathe..." my hand locked onto the metal door, gripping it viciously.

She looked at me forming a smile which came out to look terrible. "I-I-it hurts."

"I know darling, I know pumpkin. But we'll get through this, just concentrate on my voice and help will be here any minute now."

She nodded hesitantly. "Good girl."

I had to be strong for her and not freak out. That's all I had to do, simple really. "Ok now breathe in, slowly...slowly..." I watched as she took in a deep and shaky breath, "now breathe out."

She had continued with my advice for about 3 minutes now, "good baby, you're doing great toots." I reassured. Harley did seem more relaxed, my chest began to swell an unfamiliar feeling overcoming me.

I was snapped out of it when I felt my cheek collide with the wall opposite me, a childish laugh erupting from the back of my throat.

They were here. All of them. That didn't scare me...it petrified me.

Immediately the feeling in my chest I was feeling earlier diminished and I was yet again shoved into a straightjacket. "Boys, boys, boys. No need for such precautions."

I got no answer.

The door was swung open and Harley was taken out on a TLC pad.

Amongst the chaos I had noticed that my doctor was there too. "Heya doc!" I called trying to grasp her attention.

"Doc?" My patience was running thin. "I know you can hear me you dumb bitch!"

My langue wasn't used to offend and she knew that, I knew that. I needed her attention and that was the only way I was going to get it.

Unfortunately for me, the others were too oblivious of my techniques therefore I got a punch in the gut and a hiss to shut up.

She turned on her heels her eyes meeting mine as she strolled over to my struggling body. "What can I help you with?"

"So you can hear me." I grinned titling my head to the side.

"Joker, to the point."

"Right, right sorry I tend to get off track easily- I'm not to blame though-"

"Joker."

"You better let me go with her." I stated calmly.

She shook her head brushing away a strand of hair that had fallen into her eyes.
