Chapter Twenty six
Stage two:Paranioa and Mania
Arizona
White light flooded into the lobby stinging my eyes. Despite its brightness I marched through the light then strolled to the parking lot.
At the parking lot a crimson vehicle mounted on eighteen wheels had one where a banana in the shape of a man stood besides it.
" You couldn't handle a few screams" I narrowed my eyes into slits.
" Let's be honest here it was a vacation for the both of us " he replied. I shook my head though silenced.
" Why do you look like a Simpson?" I asked falling on deaf ears as I stepped into Impossible.
The following day I was roped well driven to against my will to the grand canyon. " Dude I meant when I was done with this trip not the next day!" I exclaimed.
" Oh well we're going rock climbing make sure you get all of the gear can't have breaking your bones" he blabbered off to the shop to get geared up.
Still astonished I was over geared up seated with a grimace at the shuttle next to Troy.
The harness device kept digging into my thighs and I didn't want to say it but the Calabner were heavy.
On our second last stop I bashed my helmet onto the bus thankfully not harmed then we finally reached our trail.
Outside was fervently hot so my hair ended up itching under my helmet as my armpits were very close to getting sweaty.
" Coyote" A voice called amongst the crowd before gasps and a few yelps emerged out of the group.
I drew a bored look as Troy cowered behind me. " My hero" I remarked.
" There there" he blabbered patting me on my helmet.
I shook his hands off my shoulders ready to get this over with. "Calm down" piped Josh our guide.
" The animals here are docile even the mountain lions" he uttered.
" There are mountain lions?!" exclaimed a girl at that a number of the rock climbers decided it was better not to climb at all.
As for the rest of us we got to the wall that towered us thankfully providing a shade.
According to Josh and Tina we had to wait a little since they're the lead climbers and had to place the cams on the boulders and faces we were going to climb.
Since I really wanted to get this over with I was one of the first to follow which I learnt later was a big mistake since you can't just get this over with.
But the thing is I didn't find it dull or frustrating if anything it was fun I was climbing I didn't know how much I liked it.
" Okay" I uttered searching for the cam since this surface was flat. I inched a little to the left gawking at the distance the next cam was.
The only way to get to it is if I jumped backing away only a micrometer I took the leap gripping on the hold laughing for something reason.
