Chapter thirty five
Stage three: Indecision and Secrecy
California
Dawn's blood begun to hardened against my hands and arm while I applied pressure on the exit wound.
" Dawn stay with me" I cried" Dawn" I called her again as I applied pressure on the wound that bled profusely.
" Stay with me " I told her before I sighed in relief to see her eyes hadn't lost focus yet.
It was when I called help when a raven haired guy arrived to take his turn to apply pressure.
I hadn't realised the lights were on still on hold the staff arrived to help.
" Nine one one what's your emergency?" He asked. " My friend she's been shot there blood every where" my voice wavered with the uneven breath.
" Calm down Is she still breathing ?"
" Yes" I answered as I swallowed my saliva that disguised it's self as vomit.
" Okay apply pressure on her wound!"he stated. " I already did it's her other friend working on her now"
" That's good wait help is coming on it's way " he informed me.
He ended the call before I gazed at my hands washed in blood.
Dawns' blood!
It felt so surreal, I sat against the wall rattled like a leaf. The sound kept coming in and out " There" cried the receptionist before the paramedics rushed to the scene.
Doors close by were left ajar as some travellers peeked out. " Miss Tenga we'd like to take you in for questioning down at the station " an officer partial bald pudgy detective asked.
" Station?" My voice squeaked.
Troy's P.O.V
My left arm begun shaking out of control while I was on the line. " Hell" I muttered under my breathe and stuffed the arm in my backpack when " I have something that can help you with your arm" the pusha said with his eyes all shifty.
" What? " I asked before clenching my jaws at the spread. He handed me a sachet of blue pills in them. " Helps with withdrawal"
I tossed the sachet at him shoving my arm deeper in the backpack. " It's just to help with your withdrawal you don't have to take it" he persuaded. He tossed it back to me who threw them into the bag right before he disappeared.
The line moved again there I took my full height and easily spotted Nante get up quickly I averted my gaze and followed the line to the reception that wasn't on the ground floor like all the other normal hostels.
" Troy Stewart and Ferdinand Tenga" I told the receptionist that allowed me to go in.
" Shook did this extra bitch just leave me here?" a willowy brunette barked at the hallway. " Oh sorry let me g-" she grunted
"It's cool, Do you need some help ?"
" I'd love that" she chirped " Where would you want it ?" " The storage room" she directed. " Thank you"
" Sure"
" I'm Racheal "
" Troy" I replied before dropping the over decorated backpack on the second shelf. I got a glimpse of her who smiled at me. She was cute but I know someone who has a better smile.
" I'll see you tomorrow then ?"
" Sure" I stated making a left to the room that had a few people in. I gazed at the two bunk beds left both top leaving the one with the pusha alone then got onto my bunk to get the shakes again.
It begun to spread I gave up and got the pills that I popped into my mouth.

I yawned then sighed in comfort scratching the little stubble on my chin still lolling in bed the shift arrived.
" I see you're better "
" Yeah a good mornings rest"
" Whatever but the next time you're paying" he blabbered off his way. Once clear he was out of sight I popped a few more pills into my mouth.
Who Oo!
I basically sprinted off the bed then waltzed to the bathroom too slow for me to enjoy I got into the kitchen perusing through the pastries not really sure of which to choose.
I grabbed one of every pastry waving at those that stared at me. After my breakfast nearby by the vending machine I made it to the bathroom then headed on to iFixit finally finding Nante at Dominoes.
" I thought this over Berry Farm no I got it Runyon park no Berry Farm yeah I think Berry Farm you like roller coaster I like roller coaster you're gonna eat that"
" Here"
" Tha--" I got the pizza that have her hand clapped over my mouth.
" Okay first off where did you come from and how the hell did you find me and why are your pupils the size of nickels secondly No I'm not going to Berry farm" she replied.
" Are you sure because you strike me as a roller coaster person so I guess yeah Runyon park it is really even after you sprained your ankle at the grand canyon and c--"
" Really no Berry Farm and no Runyon park either and I'm pretty sure I made my---"
"Cool I can live with that I promise I won't rest till you get that great first date" With the pizza I bolted out of the restaurant. Yes the pills were worth it !
By the time I got back to the hostel I was bushed. Usually I get tired just from driving Impossible but this took another level.
The effect had worn off and I was to my former jittery self. After checking my phone exclaiming at the messages.
" Seventy messages" I tossed the phone aside, struggled to grope for the sachet and threw the backpack on the floor scanning for the pills.
Okay this method isn't working. " Bleh " I groaned still lolling on the bed. I sat upright then rummaged my bag for the Damn sachet.
" No"
" What's this?" I questioned at the paper tossing it away. This is ridiculous I can't find it!
It dawned on me somebody took it somebody checked in my bag and stole my pills.
Before I even begun my investigation the culprit already admitted to it.
" I took your pills"
" Can I have they back" fighting back the urge to punch his face in which was really hard since the douche had a smirk on his face.
" Sure thing lemme just grab them from my room" he uttered. Right after I was done groaning at the shakes he arrived with my pills that I snatched from him.
" Thanks" I feigned while watching him ready for him to leave. " Good seeing you you can go now right now" I suggested." You don't deserve April" What the fuck is he talking about? Who the hell is April!
" Okay you need to get out or I'm calling-" I warned only to black out.
