Elizabeth POV
**
The next morning, I prepare myself properly for the first meeting with my new boss and new company. So I wore a white top with printed wide leg pants and a long clear-brown Coat. As I finished my breakfast I took the elevator down. I walked through the receptionist to glance at my driver waiting for me to catch up with him. there was no traffic so we could get there on time. The principal company of Wilbert is so much bigger than my last one. As I entered, a young man with a black suit approached me.
"You must Be Miss Hudson "I nodded and shake his hand.
"And who are you? "I asked blinking at him confusingly.
"I'm Daniel your conductor since you are a new employee. And I have strict orders. So will you follow me, Miss Hudson? there's plenty of things you need to know "
"But shouldn't I visit the director first? " he smiled looking down biting his inner cheeks. "what? Did I say something funny ?" He gazed back at my eyes with bright ones. "No, It's just that the boss is very busy now, and he doesn't like to be bothered. Leave it for another time"
I thought for a while narrowing my eyes. He must have time for me I'm not like any other worker but anyway no one wants problems On the first day.
I followed MY SMILING CONDUCTOR as he showed me every place of this huge company. The last place was my desk. I entered sitting directly on the chair. My foot hurts and I couldn't bear it any longer. I study the place greatly, the brown walls, The big desk and chair, The sofa AND the perfect view that I always look for.
"I hope you liked your desk and remembered every place I showed you" Daniel smiled warmly at me before leading his heels to the door "Thank you" I answered but he didn't hear it I guess.
I spent the following hours moving between papers. I get a bit exhausted so I decided to take a rest.
I took the elevator down to the restroom where Daniel has directed me. the room was not full, just a few employees here and there. Everyone was busy with his things. Some are chatting, others are reading books while some are just enjoying their coffee. I bid everyone a good morning, the two men smiled at me while the others just ignored my presence. I took my coffee and decided to return back to my desk. On my way, I met Daniel again.
"Miss Hudson, why didn't you have your coffee at the restroom?" He said smirking at me.
I narrowed my eyes at him "I want to say that it's none of your business, But since I'm trying to build some friendships here I'm going to say I just prefer resting alone".
"I won't mind the first answer by the way. Savage! Think we are going to be good mates " he smiled looking away. " It will be great to have a pleasant friend like you ".
"My pleasure "he grinned then it despaired immediately "Oh God! I forgot! The boss wants you in his office " My eyes went bigger and the nerves started arching "What? Now? Why? ".
"You wanted to meet him too, did you forget? he called for you so you'd better go now "
I walked away from Daniel in hurry holding my coffee. The only direction was the director's desk. I was scared, nervous, and confused. I got the feeling that something shocking is about to happen. I'm just gonna see the CEO, nothing's big and nothing to be this worried about.
I stand in front of his bureau breathing consciously. A few seconds later I opened the door to be welcomed by a huge classy room. I ignored the view to lay my eyes on the man who was sitting on the big chair. His head was down studying the papers so I couldn't get a full look on his face. All I can see is the blue tuxedo with a red tie. An expensive watch o his left hand. His brown hair was sliding back nicely. He seemed younger for a status like this.
"Good morning Sir! Daniel said you wanted me here "I said with much politesse.
"Yes, I ..."His eyes met mine. I took few seconds to recognize him. I stood still not breaking eye contact . He was as shocked as I am. That's impossible it can't be him. I dropped my coffee on the floor.
"Chris" I murmured "Elisabeth," he said along with me , he stood immediately from his chair. Why didn't I search for the CEO of the company I will work in? How lazy and irresponsible of me.
This chapter is so short !! I had to, sorry !!
