Home for Christmas (Calum Fluff)

Y/N pov

"Baby are you sure you're going to make it home in time?" You ask Calum on the phone, it was Christmas Eve night and Calum was still in LA. He had sent you to Australia for Christmas and was supposed to be here 3 days ago. He was asked to stay back to record more vocals for the new album and couldn't refuse.

"Sweetheart, I'm on my way to the airport right now. I'll there by tomorrow I promise." 

"Joy is worried you aren't coming, and Mali wants you to meet her new boyfriend she brought him just so you could meet him yet you aren't here."

"Tell my mom that I'm on my way and Mali that I could've met him another time she didn't have to bring him to Christmas just for me." He argues

"Cal... you never come here anymore you spend all your time in LA. You have to remember that you brought me here for Christmas all those years ago to meet your family, now Mali wants to do the same." I argue back defending Mali who has been like a sister to me ever since I first met her all those years ago.

"Yeah I know... just tell everyone that I'll be home soon sweetheart." He sighs 

"Ok, I'll see you in a bit babe," I tell him a small smile on my face.

*the next morning*

I wake up the next morning and once again the bed is cold and I'm alone I sigh Calum isn't home yet. I yawn stretching my arms before getting out of bed, at least I could get some coffee and wait for him to get here. I walk to the Kitchen making coffe not even noticing when the Main door opens and Calum coming inside. All of a sudden I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and Calum's face leaning against my neck.

"Goodmorning Sweetheart." He says pressing his kips against my neck making me lean into his warm body.

"You made it!" I gleam happily, turning around to look at him.

"I told you I would sweetheart, I would never lie to you, babe.  Plus I have to give you my gift, which you will get later on tonight," he says before kissing me on the lips wrapping his arms around me again pulling me into him. 

"You should go see your family Cal, I can't keep you to myself all the time." I sigh pulling away from his strong warm embrace.

"Ok, I'll be back in a bit." He leaves after kissing my forehead

*later that night*

It was finally time open gifts and Calum, of course, wanted to give me his last so I had to wait longer. Mali got me a shirt that I had shown her a while ago when she came to LA to visit. Calum had apparently got me 2 gifts the one that he first gave me was a pair of tickets to go see Fall Out Boy when we get back to LA.

Finally, everyone had opened their gifts leaving Calum to give me his last gift.

"So Y/N I know you have been waiting all day for this gift and I'm sorry but it's worth it I promise. We've been together for 4 years now, You've stuck by my side when I was missing home and when I was on tour. You became my home. I fell in Love with you on our first date, I remember it like it was yesterday. You wore the most beautiful Blue dress and curled your hair, you looked amazing. I knew that day that I wanted to see you every day. I wanted to be there for your worse days and your best days I wanted it all. These past 4 years have been amazing and I know that I never want to give you up so Y/F/N will you do the honor of marrying me and becoming my wife?" Calum says getting down on one knee pulling out a little black opening it to reveal a beautiful engagement ring. Crying I nod yes, Calum getting to his feet pulling me in for a kiss not caring about his family watching with tears in their eyes for LIttle Calum had finally found the Love of his life and was getting married.

"I love you so much," I mumble against his lips smiling before pulling away and letting him but the ring on your finger. I was excited to call my mom and show her the ring over facetime. I know she loves Calum and would be so happy that I'm marrying him. This is the best Christmas ever!
