jason waited outside for me while i packed my bags. i only packed the essentials for now. with any leftover money i received, i could buy more clothes. i looked over my room once more before leaving it.
i bid farewell to the boys who weren't taking me leaving so easy.
"compared to this, robbing a bank was a hell of a lot better aly!" jeff joked through tears. "please stay safe for us aly, jason can't be trusted."
"neither can i. let's see who kills who first." i replied, shrugging my shoulders. "so, guess this is it. see you boys soon." i picked up my bags and walked down to the car. jason had the window rolled down, waiting and watching me.
i threw my bags in the backseat and got into the passenger seat. i waved goodbye to the boys and jason started the car engine.
"quick question, who's the blondie?" jason asked.
"my friend austin, why?" i responded.
"i don't like him. tell him to steer clear of me if i just so happen to see him again." with that, jason put the car in drive and we drove off down the road and soon to his place.
***
huge would be an understatement for jason's house. that house looked like a mega mansion, like something out of fanfiction. (a/n; ohhh the irony).
we pulled into the what seemed like never ending driveway and parked directly in front the house. out came some men, about the same size men as jason. they opened the rear doors and took my bags out, manhandling them.
i hopped out the car and began walking after them. "hey! take it easy with my crap please. i have expensive things in there!"
"my hair is probably worth more than everything in those bags combined." jason remarked. there he goes again.
the men continued roughhousing my belongings and i eventually gave up on asking them to take it easy. they dropped my bags at the start of the staircase and walked away from them.
jason closed the door and out of nowhere, in came a half naked, random female.
"you're home! i thought you'd never come back!" she exclaimed, running towards jason. she aggressively grabbed him and kissed him. i raised an amused eyebrow.
jason threw the female off of himself. "i thought i told you to leave me the fuck alone? what the hell are you doing here, isabella?"
"i'm your baby mama! where the hell else would i be?" she yelled. "and who the hell is this?" she turned her attention towards me. "your taste in women are clearly declining."
"my taste in women declined when i met you. do me a favor, isabella. put on some clothes and set an example for your daughter." jason forcefully shoved the woman away from him all together and took me by my wrist to the kitchen. "jesus christ, i need to kill that woman." he said to himself.
"daughter, huh?" i questioned. "couldn't imagine you having a kid."
"i didn't want one," he replied. guess i spoke a little too loud. "i told her to get rid of it but, she decided to keep it."
"that's no way to speak of your daughter. remember, she's apart of you just as much as she is her mother."
"oh trust me, i treat that little girl like a queen. i'm just saying i didn't want a kid in general. they're like a burden." he said. "chantel i guess is different. speaking of her, let me go find her." jason left the room and went upstairs for his daughter.
for the time being, i looked around the house and got a feel for it. what was the point of having an extravagant house like this? if chantel, jason's daughter, wanted to run away, she couldn't! she'd still be right at home if she thought she got far enough.
i heard two sets of feet coming down the stairs and into the kitchen. in came the little girl and jason. she was literally a spitting image of her parents. she had to be to older than five.
"chantel, be nice," jason scowled at her.
"i want to play with my toys, daddy!" she yelled at him, stomping her foot.
"we have a guest and daddy wants you to be on your best behavior." the guest was obviously me. unless there was a ghost standing behind me.
"hi lady." she said to me. "daddy, can i go now? pleeeasssse?"
"chantel, i told that i don't like it when you beg. you're not a dog."
"if she wants to play with her toys, then let her. you're just wasting your time with scolding her the entire time." i chimed in.
jason swung his head so fast in my direction, he gave me whiplash. "you're lucky she's here. i'll deal with you accordingly, later."
"ooo daddy, i like her. she's funny." chantel laughed. "can she play with me?"
"n--"
"--of course i can!" i cut off jason. i took chantel's hand into mine and allowed her to lead the way up to her play area. she struggled up the stairs but, managed to get up them in a minute or less. she continued dragging me and opened the door that lead to her playroom.
chantel let go of my hand and ran to the corner where her dolls and stuffed animals sat. she began mimicking the voices of all the toys seated at the table. "i think daddy likes you, lady. he doesn't like mommy. i think they're getting a divorce." she randomly said to me. "well, i always see girls other than mommy with him."
"is that so?" i replied. "well, your dad loves you."
"guess so." she said. "so lady, what's your name?"
"alessandra."
"ale-what?"
"alessandra," i giggled. "it's a long name. you can call me aly for short."
chantel nodded in agreement and went back to playing with her toys. i heard footsteps walk into the room and turned to see that it was jason's baby mama. "don't think he'll keep you around for long. he sleeps around, you're not special."
"and you're not special enough for him if he's sleeping around." i taunted her. "and i don't plan on staying around for long, so don't get your panties in a bunch."
