~Lyric~

I open my eyes, seeing how I'm still sitting in the chair in the guidance room. I sigh in relief due to the fact Cecilia didn't wonder or do dumb shit. Looking up, I see Casper looking down at the ground with a soft blush on his face. Oh dear, what did Cecilia do...?

"Lyric, are you back?" Mrs. Kostwell asks as I take my glasses off my lap and put them back on.

"Yeah, I'm here now." I sigh as Casper turns his head.

"Cecilia was rather an outgoing character." Casper laughs.

"Was she flirting?" I ask, sarcastically rolling my eyes.

"Slightly. Not over-the-top though." Casper smiles, his face still rosy.

I blush in embarrassment, due to the fact it basically looked and seemed like it was myself that was flirting, though it truly wasn't. I can only imagine the amounts of scolding Endora could be giving Cecilia for flirting.

"How many people live inside your mind, anyways?" Casper asks curiously.

"Four, not including myself." I tell him.

"That's rather captivating!" Casper exclaims. "I'm so interested in this. I wonder what could be the cause of this..."

Oh. The cause of this. I look down slightly, my smile sliding into a frown. The cause of this is the guiltiest thing I know, due to the fact that I never remembered what happened in my past to cause it. The personalities were so hidden back then that even I didn't know they existed...

"I'll, uh... Explain another day." I mutter.

*"You don't seem comfortable, Lyric." Meg says. "Are you in need of any help?"

"I'm fi-"

"I'll rip his genitals off if it's needed." Endora hisses, cutting me off.

"Just let me be." I retort, and they fall silent.*

"Lyric?" Mrs. Kostwell asks curiously.

"Hmm?" I perk my head up in confusion, being lost in 'thought'.

"Oh, alright. Thought you were going through another switch." Mrs. Kostwell laughs.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say with a nervous laugh.

"Oh, are you going to MHC tonight?" She suddenly asks me.

"Oh, I am. Yes. I don't have anything tonight. My mom should be able to drive me." I say, biting my lip.

"MHC? I think my mom signed me up for that." Casper says suddenly.

"Why would your mom sign you up for MHC?" I ask. "MHC stands for Mental Help Circle, so why would you need to go?"

MHC is an everyday place where people in my city with mental illnesses go. We have such a high rate in mental illnesses here that it's only needed.

Casper looks down in an uncomfortable fashion. He bites his lip nervously.

"MDD." He mutters quietly. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna be off to class."

Casper gets up and runs to the door, basically slamming it behind him. I stay sitting in the guidance room, due to the fact I have a spare right now.

"Hmm... I'm sure I'll be seeing Casper a lot now." Mrs. Kostwell trails off. "What's your next class, Lyric?"

"It's my spare." I say simply.

"Oh, alright. Would you like to just chat then?" Mrs. Kostwell asks.

"I don't have anything better to do." I mutter. "How's life going for you?"

"Pretty great on the family side of things, actually." She says. "Marisa has gotten engaged recently. So proud of her."

"Oh, that's wonderful!" I say excitedly.

"Marisa was actually hoping you'd like to go? You could probably bring Casper along with you." Mrs. Kostwell grins.

"If the friendship sticks, I probably will." I laugh.

*"Ooh, who's getting married?" Cecilia squeals.

"Ce, you're not going out again, you idiot." Endora bickers.

"This is a more serious topic." Meg retorts. "Either let her talk, or I'll go out."

"Shut your yap and let her be." Endora hisses.*

"Lyric?" Mrs. Kostwell asks as I come back into attention.

"Sorry, I was zoning out again." I laugh. "Meg and Ce wanted to come talk about the wedding. They aren't the ones invited though."

"Of course. Serious topic for Meg, cute topic for Ce." Mrs. Kostwell smirks.

"Yeah. Sometimes I wish the four of them had their own body, so they could be physical friends instead of mental friends. I've always wondered what they would look like, anyways." I smile.

"Maybe one day, and artist can come in and draw you, then have each one of them describe what they think they look like, so you could see a visual of what your personalities look like." Mrs. Kostwell states. "I think it'd be interesting."

Hmm, that's actually a crazy-good idea. Maybe I do have things in life to look forward to.
