{Four} Broken Dolls

Bella was in her office reading the papers on her desk and doing some phone calls. Let's just say today was a busy day for Wayne Enterprise. Jason walked into her office putting some coffee on her desk, she thanked her nephew and chugged the drink down fast.

"Luckily I brought you more than one try not to chug it down this time." Bella rolled her eyes at him taking the coffee for him placing it on her desk. "One more thing the demon spawn is waiting for you he's downstairs."

"Why didn't you tell him he could come up. Jay, he is your brother at least start treating him like one." Bella said writing some things down. Jason walked away from his aunt going to get his brother. Bella was a focus on her work she didn't notice someone walk into her office. "Do you always order your nephews around?"

Bella looked up seeing Oliver in her doorway having a coffee in his hand. "I really hope that one is for you because Jay gave me one already."

"Yes this one is for me, I wanted to know if you're okay. You ran away from me yesterday." Oliver told her.

"The point of me running away was that you not suppose to come and find me," Bella said.

"Bells we kissed, and I know that meant something to you as much as it meant to me." Oliver got closer to her.

"Yes it did mean something to me but come on, you know and I know us getting back together is the last thing that we need out in the press." She didn't want to deal with all the heartbreak again, she was a wreck last time and she didn't want to go through that again.

"We don't have to let the press know," Oliver told her.

"People like us can't keep things hidden, people always find out. It was just a kiss and I've only been back a couple of weeks." Bella said.

"I think the father would be interested to find this out." Someone said and Bella stood up seeing Damian and Jason in the doorway.

"I think Bruce would find it more interesting that you came all the way from Gotham to here unattended," Bella said with her arms crossed.

"My job is done and now you have the demon spawn in your possessions," Jason said and walked out of her office.

"Father wants you home," Damian told her.

"And he sent you to tell me this, you know a phone call would have been great," Bella said.

"He wanted Grayson to tell you but he had a case, Todd wouldn't have told you and Drake would have forgotten and then remember last minute," Damian said.

"Bruce could have called me."

"But it wouldn't do you any good, because you would have told him you can take care of yourself and not bother to tell him anything if something had happened."

"Does Bruce know your here?" Bella asked him.

"Yes, father knows I'm here," Damian said.

"Then I'll call him and tell him your whereabouts," Bella said and Damian walked out of her office.

"So that's Damian," Oliver said and she nodded.

"We can have dinner, be ready around seven and meet me at my apartment and Oliver dresses nice," Bella said picking up her papers from the desk walking towards the doors. "This isn't a date it's just friends going to get dinner," Bella said walking out of her office with Oliver behind her. Oliver got in the elevator and she waved to him goodbye as the doors closed.

"Father will not be pleased," Damian said.

"Your father doesn't control my life, I'm an adult and a mother," Bella said and she walked back into her office walking towards her chessboard she moves the knight to G4. The windows got dimmed and the doors locked. "Now you can tell me, what's actually going on."
