Promise you'll remember me

OH!!!

I hear a faint voices of my mother."Get up you will be late for school."
"Omma it's still early.Even my alarm clock does not sing yet"
   "YOUR ALARM GOES OFF LIKE 30 MINUTES AGO.YOU WILL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL.GET UPPP!!!!!TAERIN" my mother shouts at the top of her lungs and pulled me out from my bed and so I lay on the floor.I scream at her and informs that I'll not be going to school today.She looks puzzled,immediately pulled me up and scold me for raising my voice at her.I feel sorry and apologize to her.After that she command me to get ready within 15 minutes and then left.I don't understand the odd and strange behavior of my mom as well as dad and my brother Jackson.They suddenly become strict and tough spoken.

I make my way to the bathroom when my vision suddenly became blur.I felt dizzy and its like my head will burst out.

I saw luminous lights and hear people chattering.I'm not in the place where I am supposed to be.I'm in the hospital.My mother and cousins were beside me and I can make it out that my dad was talking to my brother.
My mom explained what happened earlier.She assured me that everything will be fine.
Actually Doctor discovered that I had a brain tumour when I was just 14 year old.I had undergone 1 major surgery and few minor surgery which often leads me to have a short term amnesia.It was due to this that I refuse to have surgeries and instead,I prefer to eat medicines and go for treatment.
I was in the hospital for only 2 days which seems like forever for me.Doctors told me that I will be fine and will be able to continue my normal daily routine as long as I take the prescribed pills.

Next day at school

I enters my class and as I walk over my seat,Mimi a classmate of mine grabbed my hands and asks me why I was absent for the past two days.I give a small smile and ignores her.Maybe she was a bit dissatisfied ,she come over and sat beside me and asked me again the reason for my absence.
"Who are you to be this curious about my life" was how I reply her.She seems to be a bit uncomfortable to my response.So I turned it into a joke and shook her shoulder "Hey I was just kidding.No hard feelings ok?"
And as I look up I see a handsome cool guy entering our class and make his way to the last bench sat there.
"Ummm...Mi,who is that last bench guy?" I ask Mimi out of curiosity.
"Oh that cute guy? Is the Mr Popular of this school.He is meritorious,teachers pet,a bit naughty,doesn't talk much and all the girls were crazy for him....."      The look on Mimi's face was like she was craving for him too.
"How come I never saw him?" I ask.
"It was only yesterday that he came to school.Since he was on a trip with few other students and teachers,he couldn't attend the previous classes.Y'know it was because of him that they won the International Quiz Competition held in Germany.And he's from our class...what a great honour.Oh Sehun oppa..."    I interrupt her as she cannot seems to stop talking about him.
"Oh Sehun? Was that his name? What a strange name" I sighed.
Mimi look at me excitedly "Taerin are you crushing on him too?"
"NOOOO!!!! WHY WOULD I CRUSH ON THAT OH!"  My voice was too loud.Everyone is staring at my direction including Oh Sehun.I blushed from embarrassment.But thank god I don't say his last name.
Our class teacher Miss Krystal enters our room and we all stand up wishing her.I unintentionally look at Mr Oh direction and he stood perfectly still and all of a sudden he notice me and give me a nasty look.

Even though I may look like an ugly duckling,I still act cold,perfect and proud around others.This is my second week of attending this new school so I am more familiar and comfortable with it yet I can never enjoyed it.I still quarrels and have a fight with people who bullies me.

NEXT DAY

We went inside the classroom together with Mimi and talks about random stuffs.She is friendly and has a pretty face,simple have a good sense of humour.We became friends.She is the one of the least girls who do not judge my appearance.

One weekend,I was alone in the house.It was a large mansion.The doorbell rings and when I open the door it was Mimi.She does not recognize me and asked if this was Taerin(my)  house.Before I can reply I heard my name from a distance and I answered.My parents have arrived.It was my mom requesting me to help her with the stuffs they bought from the shopping malls.
That was the moment Mimi realize the whole fake things.And so we went up to my room and I narrate my story and the deals that my brother make for me.But I don't mention about my illness as I don't want anybody to know it and they'll never care anyway.
And this is how Mimi and I became closer and bestfriends.
That night I had a conversation with my brother over the phone and pleaded if I can atleast throw away the braces as I find it uncomfortable.
"Ok Tae...anyway have you been more of a good girl?"

I reply after deep thinking " I guess so...well I've been trying to be the good goodey girl.Oppa I'm a bit sleepy I'm hanging up.Bye"

Days and weeks pass by quickly and even the one who bullies me stops their bullying.That gives me peace.I can't leave my old attitudes behind.Nobody wanted to talk to me.But my bestfriend Mimi was always by my side as she knows me and my story.I don't give any interest in boys and studies as well.All I ever think was how I will be spending my life in California again after this two miserable years
