WARNING + A/N: THIS CHAPTER MIGHT BE GRAPHIC TO SOME. AND ALSO EACH CHAPTER IS GONNA BE A PATTERN. FIRST IT'S ARMIN, THEN ANNIE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS, AND THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Time of Missing: Three weeks
"Armin enough! You have missed school for three weeks!" His mom loudly told him.
"How can I go to school if Annie is still missing? It's not the same without her mom! And it won't be right if I just go to school, sit there and do nothing, if Annie is still gone and is wondering why I'm in school, and not searching for her!" Armin said back.
His mother froze.
"You are going to school tomorrow. Or you'll get expelled, and not graduate." His mother said.
"I don't care about that anymore. All I care about is Annie, and her coming home safe." Armin told her.
"Armin, the cops are searching everywhere." said his mother.
"Yeah, and look where they are. They have nothing, and they find me and my friends as suspects, just because we were the last to see her. I need to find her myself."
"Armin please....can you please just..."
"No mom! I have to find her, and hold her." Armin trailed off into tears again. "I....I need to find her...it's my fault that she's gone....I-I loved her and I didn't protect her...."
Armin's mom held him close, and ignored Armin's tears soaking her shirt.
"It's okay..." She smoothed.
"No it's not..." Armin sobbed. "Annie is out there all alone...and I'm not with her to protect her..."
After a while, Armin fell asleep on the couch, in his mother's arms.
His father came in, and wrapped his arms around Armin.
"I got him." He whispered, giving a kiss to his wife, and carrying Armin up to his room.
He opened the door, and tucked Armin in.
"Dad..." Armin said.
"Yes?"
"Will I ever see Annie again?" He asked.
This question made his father freeze, and stunned.
"W-why-"
"I don't even know...I....I don't even know anymore....." Armin cried.
"Armin...Armin don't cry." His father said.
"I....I....I can't. She was my responsibility....and I failed...."
"Armin....Armin sleep...." Suggested his father. Armin nodded, and fell back asleep.
The Nightmare
He ran towards Annie. He found her tied to a tree, beaten like meat. She looked up, eyes black as coal.
She croaked his name, and Armin held her close. Annie cried in his arms, and Armin used his grandfather's knife to cut her free.
Annie and Armin hugged again. He pulled back, but found himself bloody.
His hands were stained with the red liquid, along with his shirt. He looked and found Annie all bloody, as if blood was dumped onto her.
She said his name, before she collapsed on top of him. Dead.
"Annie!" He was back in his room. Armin sweated like a dog in heat. Maybe something else.
"Armin." Came in his mother. Armin looked up, and wiped off his sweating face.
