It didn't surprise anyone that Annie was still asleep, since she was damaged both mentally and physically.

Annie opened her eyes once again.

She was still in the hospital room she saw earlier, and still in the hospital clothing.

Annie turned her head to the heart monitor, watching as it beeped. Annie then heard drumming.

She looked in the corner the noise came from, and found a male sitting there tapping a drum.

Reiner.

"R-Reiner..." Annie called weakly, reaching out her left arm to him.

Reiner stopped tapping the drum, and walked towards her, grabbing her hand.

"Hello Annie." He said.

Annie gave a weak squeeze.

"Where's Bertholdt....?"

"Right here." Bertholdt said, by her right side.

Annie looked at him relived.

"W-where's my father?" She asked.

"He isn't here at the moment." Reiner said.

"I want to see him though." Annie said.

"We know you do Annie, but he isn't here and you need to rest." Bertholdt said.

"I've been resting, and I want to see everyone." Annie said.

"Bert, alone time please." Bertholdt walked out, and Annie looked at Reiner concerned.

"What...why did you-" she was cut off.

"Annie we know about your pregnancy." Reiner said.

Annie looked at him.

"And it's you and Armin's baby."

Annie rested her head in relief.

"But um Annie...." Reiner started. Annie looked at him. "I want you to get an abortion."

Annie was furious.

"No!" She cried, Annie then clutched her chest in pain. "I-I won't get an abortion."

"Annie, the doctors aren't sure if you will even survive." Reiner said.

Annie was now upset.

"I-I don't care. Please Reiner...this is mine and Armin's kid....this is my one chance to get what I always wanted please.....please don't take it away from me...." Reiner looked at her.

He couldn't force her.

"Okay Annie. Okay." He said.

Annie was back to being happy.

The door opened, and Bertholdt came in with a tray of food.

"Got something for you." Bertholdt smiled.

The tray had bread, orange juice, grapes, crackers, and hash browns.

Reiner propped Annie up with a pillow, and as soon as the tray was set down, Annie wasted no time in eating.

"Hey, hey, hey. Slow down." Reiner smoothed.

"But it's so good." Annie said.

"I know, I know. But, please so down so you won't choke Annie." Bertholdt pleaded.

Annie swallowed her food, and took a smaller and slower bite.

Bertholdt smiled and helped her eat.
