Ashton's POV

"You're kidding me. You're lying aren't you?" I questioned as a little boy stood in front of me, smiling like a complete goofball.

"Ash I'm not lying. We're dating and it's been more than a week " Ace beamed, smiling from one side to the other.

"What?" I paused, "and why the heck are you telling me this now?" I said as I roughly punched his arm.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he yelled, "please stop hitting me!"

Finally, I thought, everyone could tell that something was going to happen between those two, only they didn't know. They are so clueless sometimes and as a bystander, it annoyed me so much. If only they would have realized sooner, but at least it's now and not later.

"Be good to her, Ace. Otherwise, I will come back hunting for you and you'll regret the moment you make her cry. Got it?" I smiled, knowing that my scare tactic worked.

"Yes sir!" he shouted.

Ace's POV

As many months passes by, my love life continues to flow smoothly like a river. However, my working life isn't as smooth as my relationship.

"Okay Ace, could you quickly go get the boss a cup of coffee? That'd be great."

"Sure. What does he like? Does he want hot coffee or iced coffee? Also, do I put in any sugar or anything or does he want it bitter?" I bombarded my coworker with a bunch of questions, angering him.

"Just get the damn coffee! Will you?!"

"Oh okay. Sorry" I said.

"Jeez" he muttered under his breath.

Sigh.

Who knew that working at this station would be such hard labour. Instead of doing what I signed up for, I'm here making coffee and being scolded for the stupidest of reasons. I mean, when will I ever get to report about sports again? It's already been such a long time since my last live report, so maybe I might just have to move stations. How annoying, I thought.

"Hey, what are you up to right now?" Chloe asked as I held my phone to my ear.

"I gotta make coffee for that beast" I deeply exhaled, "are you on break?"

"Yep, haha sucks to be you" she teased, "but at least your holiday starts next week. I have to wait another two weeks."

"Hm, true. Are you busy tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah I am, I've got so much to do for work. Like I've got about three different things that I need to complete and hand in by next week" she complained.

"Ah okay, then go out with me next time, promise?"

"Promise. Okay, I'll leave you alone now, you have to get back to work."

"See you."

"Bye" and like that our phone call ended.

For the next few weeks, we couldn't see each and I don't know how I could have possibly made it through the past two weeks, but I did it!

I didn't think that waiting to see her again would feel so long, but I was definitely wrong. It felt as if time had simply froze and I couldn't do anything about it. I missed her, badly. I miss her eyes, her voice, everything
