Ace's POV
All I could hear was muffled voices and as I slowly opened up one eye, everything was hazy.
"What do I do? I shouldn't have made him do this. Ah! What do I do? What do I do? It's always me, it's always my fault. What the hell is wrong with me?!" she rubbed her eyes and I could feel drops of tears falling onto my chest.
It made me flinch and closed my eyes again. I guess she still doesn't know that I'm conscious yet, so I continued to play along.
"Chloe, calm down, you stay here and we'll go get some help. It's okay, it's not your fault" said a voice.
"Please don't leave me Ace, I don't want to lose you!" she cried, causing her head to fall onto my chest and she continued to sob.
My arms embraced her head and my hands gently stroked her hair, " I'll never leave you".
She gasped, stopping her river of tears for a few seconds. However, she proceeded to cry even more while snuggling her face into my neck.
"You're so mean. I hate you so much" she sniffled.
"What do those tears mean then?" I mocked while raising her chin to kiss away the tears that she shed for me.
"It's okay, I'm fine, you can stop crying those ugly tears. You know, you look the most beautiful when you smile, so stop crying."
After she had calmed down, she looked at me with red eyes and gave me a smile.
"Mhm, just like that" I beamed, clutching her face and giving her a soft kiss.

Without knowing, time flew by quickly. The moments that we shared in Hawaii at the beach, visiting the aquarium, exploring the mountains and so many more has already passed. We were back to our usual lives and couldn't be anymore content with our life.
Out in front of me laid a bunch of paper scribbled with words. There's only a few days left until I had to hand in my report about the recent game of soccer. I'm so close to finishing, but then I suddenly remember about something.
I ran out of my room and into the small living room. In the corner of the room was a few boxes that haven't been opened in ages. I carefully checked each and every box to find what I needed.
Where is it? Where is it? I thought. I'm pretty sure I left it in here somewhere.
"Found it!" I exclaimed, I took out a light purple umbrella from the box and frantically looked around to find a tag.
It read the name 'Chloe Harper'.
I can't believe it, it is her umbrella. The little girl who took my first kiss is Chloe.
"Hello? Chloe, you won't be able to believe this but- "
"I'm really sorry, but I'm busy at the moment. Tell me next time, okay?" she interrupted.
"Oh, okay. Bye."
In the end, I didn't get to tell her about this, I just never had the chance to.
