I quickly got to my locker put my things up then fast walked to my friends who were laying outside under a tree flirting and holding hands.

I walked to them, "Guy's there's something wrong." I said laying down on the grass. They sat up and looked at me," What's wrong?" Jay asked concerned."was it Zaydon again?" Pierce said furrowing his brows.

"No it's not about him." I said sitting up."Then what?" Jay asked. Sighing,"it's the new girl,Blaze. Ever since I saw her at the party and then here, at school, she's been like obsessed with me. She keeps calling me her angel and before I got here she said she had feelings for me then asked me to go out with her." I said while rubbing my temples to calm down.

They sat there not saying anything then Jay looked at me, "Well what'd you say?" I looked up at Jay wide eyes," of course I said no since I just met her! But haven't you heard what I said?" "Yeah and I get what you're saying, but it sounds to me she just really likes you." "But I don't like her that way." Jay just laughed then looked at me, "ok, but you should probably tell her face to face and if she doesn't listen and keeps bothering you tell me and I'll handle it." I smiled at her response, knowing if something bad happened she would be there by my side,"Ok."

We talked for a bit and I noticed Pierce whispering in Jays ear then kissed her on the cheek and she immediately started blushing.they're so cute together. I thought looking at them and admiring them. I still can't believe they've been a couple since the 6th grade, but they have. And like any other relationship, they've had their differences but they always find their way back to each other. "Uhhm, we're gonna go." A blushing Jay said, snapping me out of my thought. "Uh ok." I said looking at them smiling and watching them leave hand in hand.

I layed back on my back, in the grass, listening to everything around me until the bell rang for my next class.

A week has passed and Blaze hasn't bothered me since she got here. Which I'm fine with, since now I can pay attention in class. But every now and then I'm always cautious with everyone around her, trying to avoid her like the plague.

It's kind of hard since she does have a couple classes with me, but she sits a few seats aways so it's not all bad. And surprisingly she hasn't said or passed notes to me, but she does smile or wink at me every now and then, but I ignore it, which doesn't bother her any.

I sometimes see her around campus hanging out with the other skater kids doing tricks on their skateboards or doing other stupid things that end up with them getting in trouble, but they laugh it off and keep doing it.

Right now I'm eating lunch by myself, since my friends are off making out somewhere. I'm studying for a math test I have to take next Friday, I know I sound like a nerd, which doesn't bother me, because nerds shape this society. But also it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I'm sitting their going over problems, minding my own business, when the cafeteria doors slam open.

Everyone including me look up to see the skater kids on there skateboards riding in the cafeteria swerving around people and tables. I realized they were all headed one way, and that way was towards me.

They all one by one handed me a rose then skated away. I look at the roses, which are lavender colored. What's this for? Prom isn't coming up.... is it?

Feeling confused I looked back up and saw a couple other skaters skating in and holding a sign saying, VALERIE, WILL YOU GO ON A DATE WITH ME? in big letters. Is this really what's she's been doing this whole time?

I saw people looking at me whispering, making me feel embarrassed. They then turn back towards the entrance of the cafeteria and in comes Blaze skating full speed and doing tricks, but making sure not to hit anyone in the process. I've got to say I was impressed and so was everyone else who was watching her and cheering her on. It was pretty cool. But it doesn't make me want to go on a date with her.
