__________________________Mila...... What an interesting girl. I wonder how she knows me?
"You're probably wondering, how do I know you? Well that's easy-
"Wait! Wait! Hold up! Did you read my mind?" I asked freaking out and staring at her.
She smiled, "No I didn't read your mind, but I can read facial expressions. You were looking at me or more like squinting your eyes at me while itching your head, so it was kind of on what you were thinking."
I sunk in my seat feeling embarrassed, "sorry about that. I just have so much on my mind, I guess I can't really control my outer expressions well." I said while thinking about Val. Gosh she's so beautiful! But I quickly shook her out of my head. She'll never love me.
"Who won't ever love you?" Mila asked. Shit.
"Sorry I didn't mean to say that out loud." I said looking down at my tray off food and poking at it with my fork.
"If you want to talk about anything that's bothering you. I'm all ears." She said giving me a heartfelt smile.
I sat up straight and looked at her, "you never told me, how do you know me?"
She perked up, "oh that's easy! You're name is really popular among all the girls in the school and not to mention, my best friend is Claire and she talks nonstop about you. It gets really annoying to be honest." Wow small world.
"I'm sorry about that. Me and Claire had, you can say, a bit of fun, but that's over with and to be honest, she's just too much for my liking." I said while getting up to leave, but to my surprise Mila got up and began following me.
"I get that, but I mean she isn't all that bad. She has her moments where she can be really nice and caring." Mila said defending her.
"Whatever."
I opened the school door and began walking down the sidewalk to wherever.
"Umm you do know next period is fixing to start." She said still following me.
I turned and looked at her, "Yeah and?" I said shrugging my shoulders.
Mila looked back at the school then at me, "You're right. So where are we headed?" She said jogging by me.
"Not we only me. I'm the only one headed somewhere. You can go do whatever." I said walking faster away from Mila.
She just kept following like an obedient dog. "Can I please tag along?"
I sighed, "I guess." Mila jumped and clapped her hands, "Yay!"
A good 30 minutes went by until we finally got to where I wanted to be.
I stood on the hill we were on and took in the view around me. It was relaxing. I then walked down to the small stream and began taking off my shoes.
I rolled up my jeans and began walking in the water and started looking for rocks that only sparkled when sun shone on them.
"Ummm what're you doing?" Mila asked while sitting in the grass my the stream.
"Looking for sparkling rocks. Now are you going to sit there or come help?"
Mila made a face at the water then she looked at me, "but the water could be dirty and I just got pedicure."
I walked closer to her and splashed water on her. "Whatever, big baby."
