Never Gonna Happen

She continued holding my hand, dragging me to who knows where. She can sure walk fast I'm having a hard time keeping up. I kept following her then looked down and stared ar her hand that was holding mine. Her hand is really soft and warm. It's nice. Wait what am I thinking!

"Ok we're here." I snapped out of my daze looking around and saw nothing, but trees and a huge water tower. How long was I zoned out. "Where is here?" I asked raising a brow. She let go of my hand, which I kinda missed, and said,"Duh can't you tell? We're by a water tower." "I know that, but why?"

She smiled then put down her things and started rummaging through her bag and pulled out 3 spray paint cans. "What's that for?" I said pointing at the cans. She smiled,"we're gonna use these up there," she said pointing to the water tower. I widened my eyes, "there's no way I'm going up there." "Come on it'll be fun." She said while she started putting the cans back in her bag. "I don't know I think it's a bad idea." She looked at me and smirked, while putting her bag over her shoulder," that's fine, I knew you weren't gonna do it since your a pussy." I gasped at her choice of word," I am not, I would just rather live than die up there!" "Excuses, excuses. Just admit it. Your a scared pussy."

I turned around and started to walk away, but stopped. No one's gonna call me that and besides the towers not that high up. I turned back around and walked towards the tower, glaring at a smirking Blaze on the way. She's such a jerk.

I grabbed the first bar looking up and mentally freaking out. "anytime now angel." I looked back at her,"Don't pressure me." I turned back around and started my climb."don't worry about falling, I'll be right behind you to catch you if something happens." She said.I nervously laughed,"thanks."

I got half way to the top and stopped to take a break. I looked around, or as far as my body could turn and noticed that the sun was down and everything was dark, besides a little area by the tower that was lit up by a light post. I looked down again this time to get a better look on how high I was, but that was a bad idea. I gripped the bar tightly closing my eyes. Blaze noticed my reaction," hey if your not feeling well we can go back down?" I opened my eyes,"no... I can do this... let's keep going."

I took a deep breath and continued my climb, quickly this time. "Whoa someone's excited, just be careful not to go to fast." Blaze told me.

We got to the top, finally, I wanted to lay on the platform we were on, but didn't want to since it was dirty and rusty.

So still being scared out of my mind, I stayed close the the big water tank thing. Blaze looked out over the rail, hands on her hips and inhaled deeply, "What do you think? Pretty cool right?"

I slowly walked to her, gripping the bar tightly," No, I think if we stay up here too long the rusty rails and everything else will break and we'll fall to our death."

She dug in her bag again grabbing the spray paint cans and looked at me smiling, "pretty exhilarating huh?" I looked at her with wide eyes. Oh my gosh, I'm on top of a water tower with a psycho. I'm gonna die.

She tossed me a can, which I barely caught, and said,"let's get busy." I turned and walked to her,"ok fine, but no peaking." She smiled and nodded her head ok.

2 hours went by and we were finally finished. I looked at my painting I did of a purple flower. Ok I think I'm done.

I looked over at Blaze, who was in deep concentration spray painting away, I wonder what she painted? She stopped, turned to me, probably smiling,"finished." "So am I."

"Now what?" I asked. She walked over to the railing again leaning on it, "let's enjoy the view for a while."

I looked out towards the view, staring at the lights that brightened certain parts of the town, I watched as the trees softly swayed against the wind. I looked up at the stars and half moon and noticed for the first time how beautiful they actually were.
