I'm glad that I'm with Carter. He made me feel powerful and useful in life unlike many other people. I'm going to put all my pain behind me this weekend and enjoy the time I have.

"I'm happy I'm with you," I smile as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Me too," He said as we whispered in my ear.

"It's still daytime, we could go swimming?" I suggest with curiosity.

"Sounds good to me," Carter accepted as he unwrapped his arms and took off his shirt.

I did the same and I was lucky I put it on when we hit the gas station or else I would have to do it in the car and that would be really uncomfortable.

I suddenly became uncomfortable in my swimsuit when I took off my conservative clothing. He didn't seem to mind so I just let go of my insecurities. I looked over towards Carter and he didn't have a six pack like most guys and I liked it because I don't need men to work themselves to have the perfect body. I didn't have one and I think that's what makes people unique.

I dip my toes in the water and it was cold. I could deal with it so I guess it was okay. I got up to my knees until Carter decided to run up behind me and push me in the water. My head goes under without hesitation and water entered my mouth.

I release myself up from the water and begin talking.

"Carter! Not fair! I need warnings!" I say playfully, waking towards him.

I attempt to shove him in the water but it's definitely not working. I was always weaker than everyone but especially the guys. Carter keeps a straight face while saying, "You're so strong,".

We begin to splash each other like kids and it was pretty enjoyable. But we soon got out because it started to get darker and I cannot risk getting cold. When I get cold at night, I stay cold for the longest time ever. I decided to get changed but I was going to have to do it in the car. We took turns and I put on warmer clothing besides my jacket.

After we changed, I was sitting in the sand looking at the sun that was beginning to set. The colors changed into oranges and yellows and then pinks to purples. It was so beautiful, mother nature sure does her job correctly.

"It's as beautiful as you," Carter said while taking a seat next to me. I blushed as he wrapped his arm around me. I wasn't very comfortable so instead I placed my head on his legs and squiggled my body to make myself comfy.

I could see Carter looking down at my with a smile because I caught him a few times myself. I'm just glad that I have Carter in my life. He treats me like such a queen and I don't know what I do to deserve it. I looked up and kissed him on the cheek quickly.

The sunset and it was dark out so we decided to head to the nearest hotel. I got in the car and immediately turned on the music. I didn't know how far the hotel would be but some good songs are always a must whenever I'm in a car.

"Hi," Carter greeted while entering the car. He started the engine and drive off the beach and into the road.

"Hey," I greet back, trying not get nervous. I'm praying that there is a two rooms and not one. It would be nice to have my own room but I have to see where the future takes me I guess. I turned up the radio and began singing my nervousness away. It seemed like he liked it but that's not anywhere on my mind.
