Patton teaches Thomas how to sink down to go to the Mind Palace, and tells him to come visit any time he wants to! (Original prompt)

Okay, y'all, I promise that a Christmas oneshot will be out soon! It will be a bit different, but I hope you all like it!

(This could be taken as a few different ships. LAMP,

Thomas's POV

The sides and I have just finished making a new Sanders Sides video, and they all sank down after we recorded the end card. Strangely, Virgil did not stick around as he usually does to talk to me, and hang out. He must have just been tired, or wanted to hang out with everybody else. That's understandable, as Virgil is now accepted more than he used to be, which is good. It makes me so happy when I see him agreeing, and having conversations with the rest of the Sides!

Anyways, I start to get back to taking down the camera, and putting it back in its case. I finish up a few other things, like cleaning up, and call Joan and Talyn over to help with editing.

About thirty minutes later, they arrive, and us three all start to edit the new video.

~~TIMESKIP: TWO HOURS LATER~~

Joan and Talyn both have to go home after about two hours, so we say out goodbyes, and they head out the door. After I make sure they got to their cars, and drove off safely, I sit down on my couch and decide to take a break from editing.

I take out my phone, and go onto Tumblr, to see what all of my friends and Fanders are up to. After doing that for a while, I remember something.

Hmm.. Patton showed me how to sink down the other day, and he said that I could visit them any time I wanted to. I contemplate. Well, I've never seen the whole Mind Palace, and want to know what it looks like.

Finally, I decide to sink down, and visit the Mind Palace. I take a deep breath, concentrating. I can feel myself going downwards, and suddenly, I'm in a white room. (This is my take on the Mind Palace)

The room is a nice white color, but not too white to blind you. There is furniture around, like a TV, and two nice-looking couches that seems to be big enough to fit around five or fix people.

After looking around for a bit, somebody walks into the room. My head shoots over to where they stand, and I see Patton. He squeals in surprise, before realizing that it's just me.

"Hey, kiddo-" "I'm not your son-" "You decided to visit!" Patton says, smiling. I chuckle, and nod my head. "Virg! Ro! Lo!" Patton calls out. What's with the nicknames? I ask myself, but not saying it out loud, in case I hurt Patton's feelings, or it else's into an awkward conversation.

Virgil, Roman, and Logan walk out into the room Patton and I are standing in, which seems to be the lounge. "Thomas came to visit!" Patton proclaims. The other three look at me. "Greetings, Thomas!" Roman exclaims, his voice booming as always. "Hello, Thomas." Logan greets, rolling his eyes at the fanciful trait. "Sup." Virgil says, in a monotone voice.

"Weren't you editing with Talyn and Joan?" Patton questions, tilting his head. "Yeah. They left a little bit ago, though." I answer. "Oh! Okay!" Patton says, a smile never leaving his face.

Virgil and Logan sit on the couch, whilst Roman walks into another room. "Hey, Virg?" He calls from inside of the room. "Yeah?" Virgil calls back. "Some stuff fell out of the cupboards. Would you assist?" Virgil stands up from his spot on the couch, putting his phone down. "Yep!"

He walks out of the room, into the one Roman left to, which I am assuming is the kitchen. Wow, I think, everything here is just so... casual.

"Hey, kiddo?" Patton turns to be once more. "I'm not your son, but, yeah?" I look back at him. "Do you want a tour of the Mind Palace!?" He squeals, his eyes glinting with excitement. "Sure!" I say with a short nod. "Well, come on! Lets go over here first." Patton starts to walk toward the left of the room.

"This room that we are in is the lounge," he goes onto the room that Virgil and Roman are in, "this is the kitchen," I see the two picking things up off the counter, that had presumably fallen from the cupboards.

Patton leads me down the hall. "This is Missy's room," he says, pointing to a lilac-colored door. "Missy?" I ask. "Misleading Compliments!" Somebody yells from inside the room, who I'm assuming was Missy. "Oh." I chuckle. "Anywho!" Patton goes on.

"This is Pranks room," he points to another door, which is painted a dark green color. "This is Perfection," Patton points to doors as we walk, this one being a slick silver color.

Patton continues to show me people's rooms, and we finally get to the main sides rooms. "This is my room!" Patton exclaims cheerfully. His door is a baby blue color, with puppy stickers and cat stickers all over it. "That's Logan's room," he points to a dark blue painted door, which has one puppy sticker at the side of it, most likely Patton's doing.

"That's Roman's room," he points to a door that is painted white, with a bright red streak in the middle of it. There are a few crown stickers around it, and one puppy sticker as well. Again, probably due to Patton.

"And, last but definitely not least, Virgil's room!" Patton proclaims, pointing to his door. It's painted a dark purple color, with a few black spots here and there. A puppy sticker lingers above the doorknob, and nice messages that have been either typed or written on paper are stuck to the door.

The papers say things like, "Love you kiddo!", "You are awesome!", "You Are The Fairest Of Them All!", "You Can Do It, Virg!", and a few others. I smile at that, my heart warming when I see how well everybody is bonding.

I can see that Patton is happy, too. He's bouncing on the balls of his feet, smiling giddily. We continue to walk down the hall, which only has a few other doors to it.

We reach the lounge room again, where the other three sides are all sitting on the couch. Virgil is sitting upside down, his feet hanging off the back of the couch. Roman is laying under him, sprawled across the couch, Virgil's head rested on his chest. Logan is simply just sitting at the side of the couch, behind Roman's head, chuckling as the two.

Virgil and Roman are on their phones, either sending eachother memes, or on tumblr, and Logan is reading a book called The ENEMY ABOVE. I have bread of it, and it is about World War II, and tells the story of a teenage boy who is trying to survive. (It's such a good book, y'all should read it if you get the chance)

Anywho, they glance up at Patton and I after noticing we are here, and smile at us. Patton and I sit on the other couch, and the five of us just have random conversations for the next few hours, simply enjoying each others company.

So! That was the oneshot, heh. I think it turned out okay, but, tell me what you think!

Anywho, mind giving me some ideas for the Christmas oneshot? I have a small idea, but would like to hear your suggestions, because I may include them!

Thanks! Stay safe, guys, gals, and non-binary Griffins! Peace out!
