Snowflake
Definition: A feathery ice crystal, typically displaying delicate sixfold symmetry.
Looking out the coffee shop window I try to imagine what it would be like.
To have snow.
To go outside and see ice cold white substances falling from the sky.
To feel the chill in the air.
The bells on the door ring, bringing me back to reality.
I looked at the girl who had walked in, she wore black leather army boots, tight black pants, a wool scarlett jacket, along with a white shirt and beanie.
She had long dark hair and green eyes.
She was beautiful.
She looked around and her eyes found mine, her face lighting up as she hurried towards me.
I was up and out of my seat before I realized that I moved.
She jumped into my arms and I spun her around due of the sudden shift of weight.
I pulled back and looked at her just gazing into her eyes.
I realized that she was talking and was brought out of my revie.
"You have a gorgeous smile."
Liar, a voice says.
I look down and move to pull away but she doesn't let me, she moves her hands from my neck to my face and repeats what she always does, "I'm not lying, I'm not saying this just to say it. I mean it. You have the most gorgeous smile and whenever I see it, I swear my heart skips a beat."
I look at her, and think how?
How can someone so beautiful, so kind, nice and gentle call me gorgeous?
She looks at me, waiting for me to accept the compliment instead of usually throwing it aside.
I turn my gaze back to her and slowly but surely lift my lips up into the smile that she had seen before.
She gazed at me so softly, so gently and leaned forward to capture my lips.
She kissed me slowly as if asking a silent question, I moved my lips more firmly against hers and sighed happily.
We pulled away and I remember thinking that seeing her smile was better than seeing snow.
