"Uh, guys? I think you should.... get inside first while I do the explaining—"
"We just got out for such a long time and you want us to get inside?!" A blonde said, his face showed fear.
"Seungkwan calm down, let's go..."
As the american-looking one said that, they were engulfed by a smoke in the same color as the amulet. And when it covered their whole body, they all disappeared with the smoke. It shocked the girl, she wasn't really someone who believed in magic. But seeing this made her doubt her existence in the world.
"Okay... please don't think of anything wrong yet, we come in peace..." the silver head was the only one left
Yoru could only nod in understanding, she couldn't do anything else due to confusion.
"I'm Choi Seungcheol, but you can call me S.coups. I'm their eldest. And I am very grateful for the freedom you have granted us..." he said and bowed ninety degrees
"In exchange for freeing us, as genies, we will grant you one wish every day..." he smiled
"W-What?" The girl muttered, this is impossible to sink in. Genies? Really?
"It may be impossible or unreal, but we are real and this is not just your illusion..." Seungcheol sat in front of Yoru.
"And whether we like it or not, we have to grant you one wish." He showed one finger
"Evrery day..." he showed one, still. The genie trying his best to explain everything detail by detail.
"But one wish could last for three days only..."
"Why?"
"There are thirteen of us, and each genie grants one wish..."
"But there are certain rules to be followed..." he explained further
"But I'll let Jihoon explain, so you could get to know them. Nice meeting you..." he said and got engulfed by the same smoke who engulfed the others
Yoru did as told and rubbed the amulet, revealing an annoyed black haired boy. His annoyed aura flowed through her whole room, making her a bit uneasy.
"What?" He harshly asked, not bothering to make eye contact.
"I-If you don't want to say anything, I won't force you..." she stuttered
The boy's expression softened, he didn't know why. But there was something in him, telling him to say sorry.
And he never says sorry...
"I'll talk." The boy said less harshly
"We appear every 17:00..." he pointed at the wall clock in Yoru's room...
"Or in human time, every five am and disappear when you make the wish..."
"Early in the morning? Why?" Yoru asked
Cuz damn, who wakes up that early in the morning?
"Because it's a damn rule for genies..." he said annoyingly
"Who does that?" she asked, making a face of disgust
"I know right? It's disturbing..." he rolled his eyes in agreement
"Wait, I don't know who you are..." the girl said in realization.
"I'm Lee Jihoon, but call me Woozi if you like, 96' liner, the most awesome one." He self praised and the girl giggled
"That's cool." You said, as he smiled a little.
"Well, a pleasure meeting you. Now let's go to Soonyoung." He said and disappeared.
Yoru knitted her eyebrows together, does she really have to meet thirteen boys one by one?
She sighed and waited for the next person— genie to show up, and there appeared the purplish haired boy with the slanted eyes.
"Thank you so much!" He immediately said and bowed (more like folded himself in half)
"Y-You don't have to repeat it..." Yoru waved her hands at the boy
"My name is Kwon Soonyoung! I'm 21! I—"
"Not so loud please..." the girl cringed, the boy was literally too loud.
"But you can call me Hoshi..." he eye smiled while he whispered
"That's a cute name..." Yoru smiled
Hoshi's cheeks blushed a dark red, and he shyly looked down.
"I-I... uh..."
"You don't have to be shy around me..." the girl smiled kindly
"O-Okay..." he smiled
"Okay, so what more do I need to know?"
"We can grant any wish you could desire, name it, and it's there in one poof!" He smiled while explaining with enthusiasm.
"But..." he trailed, his bubbly face disappeared and was replaced by a serious one.
"You can't mention us, not even a single word about who we are and where we're from..." He said
"Or you're memories will be wiped out including ours about our encounter..."
But then his serious gazed turned into a happy one again, making you think that he was some kind of alien instead of a genie.
"You can call us anytime you want!" He grinned
"I guess that's all I could say for now... till next time Yoru!" He waved and poofed away.
You smiled at Soonyoung's cuteness.
"Okay, three down, ten to go..."
