The others poofed away, figuring that it was time for Seokmin's time with Yoru, so they left him with the sobbing girl.
He scooted closer to the crying girl, he held her in his arms. His chin was leaning on her head, as she sobbed on his chest. As he did that gesture, Yoru cried louder, her voice slowly muffled in Seokmin's chest.
He began humming the song Yoru sang earlier, trying to calm the girl down.
"I like being independent
Not so much of an investment
No one to tell me what to do..."
However, the girl continued to cry, he felt his chest starting to get wet. But he didn't care as long as she starts smiling again, not even an hour passed, but he missed her giggles already.
"I like being by myself
Don't gotta entertain anybody else
No one to answer to..."
Seokmin hugged the girl tighter, her breaths are starting to become shallow.
"But sometimes I just want somebody to hold
Someone to give me their jacket when its cold got that young love even when we're old..."
He felt his heart beat fastened.
"Yeah sometimes, I want someone to grab my hand
Pick me up, pull me close, be my man
I will love you till the end..."
Her tears stopped flowing, only small hiccups were heard here and there.
"So if you're out there I swear to be good to you
But I'm done lookin'
For my future someone
Cause when the time is right you'll be here but for now—"
"Dear no one..."
Seokmin stopped, even though Yoru cried, her voice stayed beautiful. It surprised Seokmin that even when she just stopped crying, her voice sounded like satisfying tinkling of bells.
The way she sang those three words, emotions poured out of her mouth. Her voice sounded like a soft loving whisper, you would want to hear it every day.
"Seokmin..." Yoru whispered
"Hm?" He softly whispered as he started playing with her hair softly.
"Make it go away...."
"Make what go away?" Seokmin asked
The girl clutched her chest, another tear fell.
"Please..." she whispered as she started crying again.
Seokmin cupped her face using his hands and wiped her hears using his thumbs, she kept crying. This pained him more than he knew, he closed his eyes in sympathy.
"Please don't cry..." the boy whispered.
"Make it go away..." the girl repeated.
"Make the pain go away..."
Seokmin looked at her eyes which were staring right back at his, hurt was shown in her face.
Dokyeom didn't know how to respond, he just stared at her.
"I miss your smile already..." He whispered to himself, Yoru didn't hear.
She held his hand which was on her cheek, she let out a forced sad smile.
A pained smile...
"Even just for a few hours, I wish to forget this pain..." she said, as calm as she could
Seokmin smiled, a happy one.
'Finally, a wish for herself...'
"Make it go away please..." she sobbed again, her tear staining his hand.
"Your wish, will be granted..."

The boys looked at the sleeping girl through the amulet, all quiet because of the scene that occurred earlier.
"How'd you grant her wish?" Jihoon asked, also staring at Yoru's face.
Seokmin smiled, "She said even just for a few hours, so I set her to sleep and gave her a dream..."
"What dream?" The older asked
"A dream with her and her mother..."
The boys stared at her with understanding and sadness in their faces.
"She must feel lonely..." Chan said
"And disappointed..." Mingyu added
One boy looked at her, his eyes held a longing gaze for the girl. He wanted to burst out the amulet and hug her tight, maybe even make her pain his.
'No Seungcheol, you're not supposed to fall for her...'
