The days had passed feverishly, each and every soldier dreading the days that passed - each day they treaded closer to the threat. Base camp had moved five kilometres closer every day as the night's army moved through the thick foliage towards the capital city.

Each soldier had stuck with a partner, in Baekhyun's case it was Sehun: Due to Sehun's high title, he led his mother's army until they were perched upon Ruban Hill, peering over the first human Basecamp.

"We strike at midnight" Sehun alerted his troops. At midnight they moved, Baekhyun and Sehun meeting at the left hand side of the camp. Upon night, Baekhyun moved easily through the camp for his appearance was similar to the human beside him.

Baekhyun was greeted by enemy soldiers but his movement by the wounded tent had his entire throat scratching in thirst as the scent of blood entered through his mouth in deep gulps.

"Soldier, Holt" Baekhyun obeyed the enemy commander, placing a hand to his forehead in a salute.

"Sir" the commander peered at Baekhyun through the darkness and torch light, his eyes squinting as he surveyed Baekhyun's attire. A black button up one piece.

"Oh my stars..." the commander's mouth opened in terror as he watched Baekhyun smile maniacally. Baekhyun's nails swiped the commander's throat with inhuman force and speed, and in a moment Baekhyun's jaws had latched onto the commander's neck. His teeth perched themselves steadily onto the commander's bursting veins and he sucked as if he hadn't in his entire life.

That night, the military camp of Ruban Hill was invaded and taken by the Night Army. Baekhyun, a singular vampire had become a night demon and killed not one but many.
