The more closer we got to Jonathan's house, the angrier I got. He used us, he betrayed us, he lied to us. And him almost killing Max made me hate him even more. I thought he was our friend. We hungout together a few times and it felt normal. Nothing seemed wrong with him, but I was wrong. Now anything related to Sebastian, or Jonathan, or whatever his name is, is dead to me. I want to grab Izzy's whip and choke him to death, but something tells me he might enjoy it.
I felt up my stars as we arrived to his apartment. Izzy nodded her head at us before she kicked the door down. We - me, Jace, Izzy, and Clary - rushed in the room and held our weapons up. I took a look around the room to see empty Chinese food containers, enough for three.
"Jonathan!" I shouted at the figure in sitting in front of us. He didn't respond.
"Turn around and face us," Jace said.
"Where is Valentine?" Izzy added.
Jonathan still didn't say anything. Izzy slowly walked towards him. She used the end of her staff the turn the chair he was on. My eyes widen when I see Sebastian's rotting corpse. The real Sebastian's.
"Oh, my god," I breathed.
I wanted to look away. There were still bruises covering his grey body. Dried blood was covering his nose, lips, everywhere. He was tortured for days.
"What, did Valentine kill him?" Clary asked.
"He's been dead for days," Izzy said.
"Tortured first," Jace added.
"This was the real Sebastian Verlac," I finished.
Jace went over and closed Sebastian's eyes. "Ave atque vale."
"Hail and farewell," We all recited. I made a silent vow to the real Sebastian that Jonathan isn't going to get away with this.
I furrowed my eyebrows when Sebastian's body started to shake. "Jace," Clary called out.
Sebastian's head started to twist and turn violently. His demonic eyes were dead set on us while he let out this sickening snarl. Jace held up his seraph while I held up my stars. Demon Sebastian growled at us again before he ran towards the wall. He landed on the wall like a spider. Like that one character Simon was trying to teach me again.
"It's a possessing demon," I said.
"The same kind that murdered my mom," Clary sneered.
"Then we know how to kill it," Izzy said.
Sebastian jumped from the wall. I threw my stars at him, making him fall back. Izzy wasted no time to use her whip to wrap it around his neck. She bashed him to the ground which gave Jace the perfect opportunity to stab him through the heart. Sebastian's body started shaking until it disintegrated into nothing but dust.
"We'll make 'em pay for what they did to you," Izzy vowed.
"We're going to make them pay for everything," Clary said.
And we will.

We told the Inquisitor everything that happened at Sebastian's house. I tried to contact with Sebastian's family, but so far the only thing I could do was ask Aline to deliver the message. They're going to be so heartbroken to learn that their own son died by some - some monster. He, Stark, and Valentine are monsters. To kill someone so innocent and to use his body as some kind of a trap. And the only way to summon a demon into another body is by controlling it, meaning Valentine still has the Mortal Cup. So not only does Valentine still have the Mortal Cup, he has the Mortal Sword. Great, just great.
