Alex's POV
GAMEDAY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
If you can't tell, I'm really hyped. I'm staring today's game and I can already feel that it's gonna be a good one. We play Sweden, so it's kinda like a rematch from March 7th, which was the 3rd-place match for the Algarve Cup. I got a hat trick, nbd ;)
When I woke up, I looked around. My laptop was open, but the screen was really dark, and I couldn't really see anything. I had one earbud in, and I was surprised my phone was charged. Usually when I fall asleep on while on my laptop, I forget to charge my phone. I can't remember what I was doing before I fell asleep. I remember Pinoe, my roommate, walking in and saying she was gonna go to sleep right away, I remember talking to Serv for a while, but I can't remember anything else.
"You're up"
"AH SHIT STICKS" I yell as I jump. It came from my earbud. I move my cursor and sure enough, Servando is looking at me laughing.
"Good morning to you too," he said through laughs. "How did you sleep?"
I sighed. "If I was with you right now, I'd punch you."
"I know."
"But to answer your question, I slept fine, thank you. I'm super excited for the game today. Are you gonna watch?"
He nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll get to see my favorite person ever get to do what she loves."
I put my finger on my chin, like I was thinking about what he said. "Funny, last time I checked, your mom's dog isn't chasing her tail."
He laughed while rolling his eyes. "Whatever, loser."
I stuck my tongue out at him, but laughed with him. After, we just looked at each other, smiling. His hair was messed up, like he had just woken up, which he probably did. His eyes looked extra vibrant. His smile made my heart so warm.
"I really miss you, Alex."
"I miss you too, Serv." My smile dropped. "But, I can't come back until after the Olympics. It sucks, but that's pretty much the rule. If I came to visit, it would be for a day, max."
"Seeing you for 90 minutes would mean so much to me, you have no idea." I put his head in his hand. "So, so much."
Anyone can tell that Serv and I have feelings for each other. Strong ones. But, I'm dating Tobin, if you can even call it dating. We haven't really acted like a couple in a while. Ever since Servando and I have Skyped every night, I've been spending less time with Tobin and more with him. We still hang out and stuff, but we act more like friends than partners. Don't get me wrong, I love Tobin, with everything in me, but I don't love her like she deserves. I feel like I'm cheating on her with Servando, but I shouldn't be. We've been acting more like friends than we do girlfriends of 4 years. She deserves someone loyal, someone who will love her in a way I can't. Someone who looks at her like I used to; with absolute passion. Now, I only see her as a close buddy.
At this, I realize I have to talk to her. "Hey, Serv, I'm gonna go talk to Tobin. I feel, I don't know, weird, I guess. I just, I have to go clear something up. I'll talk to you later."
He looks a little saddened, but nods anyways. "Okay, bye."
"Bye." I click the 'End Call' button and see that we Skyped for 10 hours. That's how they've usually been.
I look over at Pinoe's bed. It's empty. Then, I hear the water running in the bathroom, and assume she's showering. I change into some running shorts and a Nike t-shirt, slide into my flip flops, and head towards Tobin's room.
