Morning of my first day at school

Archie stayed with me all night, I woke up the next morning, he was still holding me, I swear he didn't want to let go, with my head rested on his chest I slowly tried to wiggle out of his grasp, it didn't work. "Where do you think your going?" He chuckled, "to get breakfast but you see my friend won't let go of me so I'm kinda stuck,"
"Friend? I thought I was more than that to you?" He said sarcastically faking he was hurt and put his hand to his heart, "okay best friend," he let me go, I got up and went into the kitchen, turning back when I reached the doorway and said "I guess..."

A grin appeared on my face as he got up and ran towards me, I ran too but he was to fast and stopped me before I reached my room, he turned me so I was facing him, I looked into his eyes with pure joy, I don't think I've ever been this happy with any of my friends. He quickly let go after that, "I'm sorry I have to go before my dad gets up," he said laughing, "did you leave your window open last night?"
"Yeah..."
"Climb through my window,"
"Good idea," he gave me a quick goodbye hug and climbed over to his room, "want a lift to school?" I asked, "of course, people seeing me getting driven around in a Camaro by a girl!?! Wouldn't miss it for the world." He quickly put on a shirt and went to get ready, and me, I got ready too...

It was poor timing when Archie turned up for his ride to school, he knocked and came in, I freaked out because I was in my bra and underwear, luckily I was quick enough to wrap myself in a towel and kept cooking my bacon and eggs. "Ahh Piper why are you in a towel?"
"Cause being wrapped in a towel is my morning look, seriously?! I just had a shower"
"Yeah I probably should have guessed,"  he came and gave me a hug from behind and then went to sit down, obviously still on the floor because no furniture.... I quickly ate and got dressed and then we headed off to get into the car....

On our way to school we didn't talk much, well a little, only when Archie spoke up. "Hey I'm really sorry for just walking in this morning, you could have been with anyone or doing anything...."
"Don't sweat it we're friends right?"
"Yeah but it's still not appropriate,"
"As I said don't sweat it, Archie we have gotten very close over the last day, I don't mind, I really really want a roommate though," I said looking at him.

"I'd love to but aren't we close enough? I'm right next door," he said laughing, "yeah I know, but we're best friends right?"
"Of course we are! I'm just not going to talk anymore, I'll screw up..."
"I love it when you screw up though it's cute," his face went a deep red, "in a best friend sort of way," I said laughing. "Here we are! Riverdale high, I'll introduce you too my friends, they'll love you, and hopefully you'll love them..."
