Forgiveness?

Harpers p.o.v

I got to the hospital quite quickly, although I must admit, I may or may not have sped just a little bit. I stood in the doorway of room 103, seeing Piper laying on the white bed, the room was filled with no colour, no emotion.

"Hello?" I turned to see a boy, ripped I must admit, his ginger hair styled with some strands dangling over his face, "who exactly are you?" He asks "I'm Harper, I asked Jughead to get Piper to meet with me."
"So your the one that made her mad at me, who are you to her?"
"I met her when she was in the south side serpents a few years back,"
"I never knew she was in the serpents..."

"Anyway I met her there, something happened a little while later with her and Jughead, the serpents left and she couldn't go, so they kicked her out and we left, that was the last time I saw her, until now."
"What happened between her and Jughead?"
"Sorry, that's not my story to tell, I didn't catch your name by the way,"
"Archie, Andrews."

"Nice to meet you," Piper groaned and rolled to her side, yelping in pain as she leaned on her not yet healed wound. "Aren't you gonna,"
"No, we aren't on very good terms at the moment," he whispered.

I walked in, not knowing what to say, nore do, "Piper, hey!" I said trying to sound enthusiastic. "Harper? What are you doing here?" She said slowly opening her eyes, "I heard that you were here, also, you shouldn't be mad at Archie okay?"
"He stood me up Harper,"
"No he didn't, he asked you to go to pops because I wanted to see you, I was waiting inside. I'm here because FP wants you back in the serpents, we moved back to Riverdale!"

"Really? But I'm not going to have to do anything to get back in right?"
"I don't know, I wouldn't think so, just get the tattoo,"
"Okay, I can handle that."
"Piper?"
"Archie I'm so..." He cut her off, "your joining the south side serpents again? Why?"
"I belong there Arch, there's nothing for me here in the north side," she explained softly. "That's where your so wrong, my friends love you Pip..."

I could see the tears start to fill her eyes, and I knew why, Jughead didn't call her anything but Pip or Pipe. It must be so heartbreaking hearing that word again, "please Archie, don't call me Pip, it hurts..."
"How does it hurt? It's a nickname Piper!"

"A nickname with a story behind it," I whispered, "what?"
"A nickname with a story behind it..." I say just a little bit louder, "you know what? Go back to the south side, go back to the serpents, because your right, there is nothing here for you, anymore at least..." The tears that were constantly trying to spill were now rivers down her cheeks, "Archie!?! What the hell is wrong with you!?!" I almost yelled, "I tried Harper, I tried to make her stay, but she's just to stubborn to let it in," he said walking out, then, my phone started buzzing.

Sliding my phone out of my pocket I noticed Jugs contact flashing on screen, "hey,"
"Where are you? I'm at the diner but your nowhere to be seen..."
"I'm at the hospital with Piper, but I'd suggest not coming here," but he had already hung up, if he comes to the hospital Piper is going to freak out, until I hear a slight snore, saying she's in the deepest of sleeps, and the sweetest of dreams.

Maybe ten minutes later I see Jug walk up to the receptionist, she points over to the room that we are sitting in and he turns to start walking, he stops when he reaches the door frame. "She's asleep, and in a very deep sleep to say the least,"
"I can't believe I put her in here,"
"You didn't, I did, I asked you to get her to meet me at pops, you just did what I asked you to do."

"I also can't see her when she's awake, why did my dad ask me to do what I did?"
"I don't know, but it proves that you are loyal to the serpents, you hurt someone you cared about for your family, Jug, I think it's time you join us..."
"I can't join the serpents, not if she is,"
"She is, but that doesn't mean anything Jug, you need to get over whatever you stuck on,"
"Okay but I can't promise anything."
"I know, I understand," I then told him what happened with Archie, he just said that he's just as stubborn, he doesn't want to let go, but he feels like he's forced to because she doesn't like him back. "He told her to leave, because there was nothing for her here, and then he added, anymore at least,"

"Okay, Archie can be harsh but that's to far, did he overhear how she's joining the serpents?"
"Yeah, that's how they came upon the subject of her leaving..." He grabbed his phone from his pocket and lifted it up to his ear, "Archie? We need to talk..."
