Cindy's POV
Henry helped me finish packing this morning as we pulled and all-nighter. We both haven't slept. We wanted to have a memorable night before I left. I felt good inside me and I just couldn't get over the fact that I was leaving him behind and all my friends.
I walked to the pathway of our house to put my luggage in my car. I turned around and waited for Henry to put my other luggage in my car too.
We said our goodbyes and gave h a huge hug and kisses. I didn't want to let him go. He had to pull my hands for me to let go.
"It'll be fine baby. Only couple of years and we will be together again. It'll be worth it.I'll txt or call everyday I promise." he assured me.
"I love you so much." I said giving him last kiss.
"I love you more." he said shutting the door of my car just when I got in.
I drove off to the airport and checked in. I feel my eye lids getting heavier as I waited for the plane to fly off. I pictured me finishing school and then coming home and getting married to Henry. It was all exciting. I dozed off at the sound of the engine of the plane.
I woke up and we already landed. I grabbed my bag and walked out the door of the plane. I waited for my luggages to come out and hired a taxi to take me to my new place. I started unpacking and when I finished I went for a walk to check out the campus. I grabbed my phone in my pocket and dialed Henry's number. I already got my phone a new sim and registered it.
"Hey baby. I miss you already." he said picking up.
I giggled, "Oh wow, you have no idea how much I missed you already. The campus looks so good. "
"Yeah, I told you that you'll be fine."
In the middle of our conversation I saw someone who looked really familiar in my eyes. He was tall and masculine, but not as masculine as Henry. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. His smile remind me of old times.
"Babe..?"
"Uh, hey Sorry I just looked at something." I said realizing I was still on the phone.
"You're not replacing me already are you?" Henry teased
I laughed then teased back, "Not that quick give me a week or so.."
I could hear him laugh and it made me miss him so much more.
The stranger started to walk towards me and I was speechless. He was smiling at me and waving.
"Hey honey, I have to go. Talk to you later. I love you." I said to henry when I noticed the stranger was coming nearer.
"Alright, I love you. Be safe." he said ass he hanged up the phone.
"Cindy? Cindy Walker?" the blonde guy said putting his arms up for a hug.
"Uhm..?" I was confused. He looked familiar but I'm not sure if I ever talked to him before. He must've noticed my confused face when he put his hands down and not giving me a hug which would be totally awkward.
"Aiden Anderson," he said with a smile. Wow his eyes are gorgeous, face and body. OMG he was my high school boyfriend. We dated in primary. I practically knew him my whole life. We didn't really break up it was complicated. He was moving and wow times has changed. His hotter than he was.
"OMG," I said suprisingly. I gave him a hug. "You're looking good."
"So are you!" he said nodding and smiling.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I'm studying, I changed course. I'm going to be a doctor."
"A doctor? Throwing away the architect?" I teased. He dreamed to be an architect when we were in primary.
"You remember that?" he said surprisingly.
"Ofcourse, so do you go to school here?" I asked curiously
"No, I just visited my friends."
"Girlfriend," I teased
"No. I haven't been dating since.. you." He said
Why is my face heating up? OMG he must think I'm a freak blushing away.
"Well I have to go. Do you want to grab dinner? If you're not busy? Catch up?" he asked.
"uhm, sure why not. " I said smiling.
"I'll pick you up at 7?" He winked as I wrote my number on a piece of paper and handing it to him.
"Sure," I said as he gave me another hug.
He walked off and I started walking myself. My phone rang and it was an unknown number.
"hello?"
I heard a giggle, " Just checking you gave me the right number. See you later beautiful." Aiden hanged up
He was so sweet I think I'm going to melt.
I went back to my room and saw a girl. She had long blonde hair, blue eyes. She was about my height.
"Hey I'm Savannah," She said with her pink lipglossed lip making together to form a smile.
"Cindy," I smiled. She looked like one of those popular girls who goes to party and doesn't care what everyone thinks. She looks mean but sweet at the same time.
"Oh my God, you're not a freak or one of those nerds are you?" she asked.
"No, I'm normal," I smiled and said honestly. I do study but not as much my brain will pop.
"Good." she said relieved, "my previous one was a freak I swear. She like studies everyday legit."
I noticed she had a really think accent that sounds Australian.
"You from Australia?" I asked
"G'day mate. Hell Yeah!!!!"
"OMG me too!" I yelled as we jumped up and down.
"Fuck! finally a proper person for a roommate not some wanker," she squeled
In Australia it's very normal for people to swear at each other like you call your bestfriends "fuckface, dickhead," like that and they won't get offended and you call you're enemies "mate" I know it's fucked up. I forgot how much I swore.
