Chapter 23

Cindy's POV

It's been long 2 years and I graduated Harvard University. Henry moved in with me 2 years ago and were still together. We bought a house in Los Angeles and Savannah is living with us. Lately Henry and I have been fighting because he wanted to go home to Australia for a family reunion and to take care of a business  apperantely.

"Are you that ashamed you don't want me to be there?" I asked

"Baby, every single person in my whole blood line knows who you are and anyways your going back there 2 weeks after me. We will meet there." he smirked.

"Henry! It's not time for smirking, why can't you just come with me we will have same flight." I said in annoyance and stomping my feet.

"It'll be the same I'll be out all the time for this business."

Why was he so calm about this?

I raised my eyebrow at him and gave me a serious look, "You're seeing Kristen again aren't you?"

He laughed at me as he found that funny. "Babe are you serious? I hate the bitch, excuse my language more than you do. Waaayyyy more."

I pulled the puppy dog face on him hoping it'll get him to stay. He shook his head and gave me a smirk.

"I can't go a week without you," I said trying to look cute.

"I know baby. I'll call you every day I promise." He kissed my forehead. He turned to walk away but I grabbed him and gave him a hug and kissed him tenderly.

"I'll kill you if you don't." I whispered giving him another kiss.

"I know that's why I will call everyday you can count on it." He said picking up his bags and walking out the door.

"Savannah!" I yelled

"Chill bitch, What's up?" she said looking up from her phone and walking downstairs.

"Let's go out for ice cream," I suggested.

"Hell Yeah!" she said with excitement.

HENRY'S POV.

Finally arrived at the airport and I headed to Cindy's house. I knocked and her mum answered the door within 3 knocks.

"Henry, what brings you here?" she said hugging me and opening the door for me to come in.

"I just needed to ask you something." I said politely.

"Anything for you darling," she smiled.

"I love Cindy ma'am and I wanted to ask for your permission on taking her hand." I said nervously waiting for the answer.

"Oh," she was shocked, "Henry it's Cindy who you should be asking,",

"I know ma'am I just wanted to get your permission fist,"

She gave me a loving smile, "It's alright with me darking, It's an honor you asked me."

I gave her the biggest smile and gave her the biggest hug too.

"Thank you so much. I'm afraid I have to run. I got arrangements to do. If she asks can you please not mention this to her. It's a surprise." I said politely.

"I'll act like I don't know anything." she smiled

I headed out the door knowing I have time make this proposal unforgettable. What would she want for a proposal. I already bought her the ring. it was diamond around the ring with a big diamond on top. Savanna helped me pick it from Tiffany and Co back in New York. All I got to do now is pick a time and place.

2 weeks later.

HENRY'S POV.

I picked Cindy up from the airport and she was so happy to see me again and so was I. I've missed her so much. It sounds girly but you have to be in my position to feel these kind of things.

"So where are we going out tonight!?" I hear her yell from the shower.

"Just for dinner!" I yelled back putting my suit on the bed.

She came out of the shower with only towel wrapped around her. She was beautiful and hot. The water drops on her neck were just turning me on and I wanted to pull the towel out of her and lay her down on the bed.

"You checking me out?" she winked.

"Don't I always," I winked back. She rolled her eyes but smiled at my comment. She moved closer to me, so close there was no space between us.

"Maybe we should stay tonight and you know," she said looking at the bed and back at me.

"Very tempting," I honestly said. She bit her lips and licked them trying to seduce me. "but no," I continued.

She rolled her eyes and she got dressed.  I took a shower and put my tuxedo on.

After 2 hours of driving she was fast asleep on the car. I pulled over and parked my car and took my cellphone out to txt.

I put my phone out when everything was in place. I blindfolded her and woke her up softly.

"Why am I  blindfolded Henry?" she whined.

"Babe just be patient. You have to keep it on okay,"

"O-okay," she agreed nervously. I took her out of the car and guided her to the spot I wanted her to stand on.

"Henry this is freaking me out," she said tightening her hands on my hands

"It'll be fine." I comforted. "YOU ready?"

"Yeah," she said unsurely.

I took the blindfold out and she took her time looking around the place. Tears ran out her face as she gasped and smiled. Her eyes bulged out and she looked at me. I got down on one knee. She took her hand and covered her mouth in surprised

"Cindy Ann Walker, will you do the honor of becoming my beautiful wife?" I asked nervously waiting for the answer.
