The Day Before The Wedding

Time jump (I'm too lazy to plan the wedding)

Alexander POV
           I wake up with Eliza's head on my chest. Her eyes still shut, and her tiny, gentle, and soft hands on my chest as well. I reached for my phone and she wiggled a bit, and then she scrunched up her nose. She's adorable. She looks up at me, and gives a half smile but she is tired still.
"Good morning Alex," she looks says sleepily.
"Good morning Betsey," I say as I kiss her on her cheek.
She rolls over and falls asleep again.
"I love you Betsey," I say as I walk out of bed and go to make breakfast.
Tomorrow's the day. Tomorrow I get married to the woman of my dreams. I'm going to make sure that EVERYTHING is perfect. I want Eliza to have a perfect wedding. She deserves it. She deserves the world. Her parents are staying in the hotel near us, and we'll see if my dad shows up. My brother James and I haven't talked in years so we'll see. You see you all think I "make breakfast" I don't. I order Cracker Barrel. I put some crumbs and non stick spray on a pan, and after I finish plating Eliza comes down.
"Morning Mrs. Hamilton."
"Not yet," she looks at me with a smile.
We are eating and she gets up to get more coffee.
"What's this?" She questions me picking up the receipt.
"Um I bought breakfast..... for the guys." I lie sounding very very guilty.
"Uh huh" she says throwing it away.
She turns to head upstairs, but turns around and heads to the back of my chair.
"I'm going to make breakfast from now on," she says as she kisses me on the cheek.
She begins to walk upstairs, and she's wearing one of my oversized t shirts. She's absolutely perfect. I mean she's everything..... hot, good cook and she likes to clean, and she's a doctor. Which means she's smart. My soon to be wife is a triple threat. And I couldn't be happier. She comes back downstairs with a hamper, and starts to fold laundry. I help and then the guys come over. Eliza runs out to get her nails done with her sisters. The guys and I are on the couch vegging, and eating. Then Laurens tells us he's joining Washington's team. Laf and Herc are already on his team. I got an offer, and I'm going to take it but I should tell Eliza before I make any final decisions. I feel like I was destined for this job, but I just want her to like it. The hours are a lot. Then the apartment door opens. We don't see her yet so the guys and I go back to video games.
"Hey Alex I'm home!" Eliza hollers.
"We are in the living room!" I holler back to her.
"So um guess what," she tells me.
"What?" I ask.
"Well I ran into someone who's here to see you."
"Who?"
"Hey little bro,"
That's when James walked in and Eliza was right behind him.
"James?" I ask.
"Whoa your brother James?!" Laurens asks.
"Yeah," I say.
"I got your wedding invite and decided to come!" He said with a smile.
"I'm not giving you money," I tell him.
"Not here for money just here to see you get married. And by the way you did really well with your fiancé! Total smash."
"Excuse me?!" Literally everyone in the room said that but James.
"Ok don't joke about that got it." He said reading the room.
"I'll leave you to it. I have one last thing to pack before we head to the honeymoon after the reception" she says.
"We saw your checklist you packed everything!" Hercules said.
"No I didn't. There's something I bought on my way back from the salon." Eliza said going into the kitchen and coming back out with a Victoria Secret bag.
"Take your time packing babe." I say as she heads upstairs.
"Alex is gonna get some," Laf whispers once Eliza's out of earshot.
"How you been bro?" James asks me.
"Well I'm out of college and law school, I have four job offers, the best woman in the world is engaged to me, and I have the best friends ever. I'm doing great. How have you been?" I ask him. I am interested in it.
"I have a great girlfriend, I work at an accounting company so boring job but good pay, and I have a baby on the way." He says.
"Wow! Your girlfriend is pregnant? Congrats-" he cuts me of before I could finish.
"No my girlfriend is not pregnant"
"But you said that you have a baby on the way...."
"Yeah I am going to be a father, and the girl I met at a bar while my girlfriend was on a business trip is going to be a mom." He said.
"Wait, you cheated on your girlfriend?! How could you do that?! I for one will NEVER cheat on Eliza or anyone EVER,"
"That's what they all say," James said as he left to go back to his hotel.
The guys went home and Eliza and I had salad for dinner. We lounged for a bit and then she fell asleep so I snuck out to Lafs once Angelica and Peggy showed up. I want this day to be perfect for her. She is going to be Mrs. Hamilton and I am not going to let her first day of being Mrs. Hamilton start off on the wrong foot.
