Brendon, by definition, is an over thinker. Over thinking everything. He thought about every thing. Even Andy and Joe knew this.
"Duuude," Joe broke the silence. "He's had a rough life. Cut him some slack. Brendon you need to fix this mess."
"But how? He hates me." Brendon rested his face upon his hands.
"You need to talk to him. Apologize. Brendon you made the mess only you can fix it." Andy is the wise one. He very rarely spoke, but when he did, his words were wise.
"Do you think he'll forgive me?"
"No, but its worth a shot."
"Thanks joe! That's helpful."
"You're welcome!"
"But seriously, it's worth the shot. He might not right off the bat but if you try he will too." Andy was right.
So Brendon went to Patrick's house.
"Brendon...what?" Patrick was shocked. The mahogany door was wide open. Patrick looked exhausted.
"I'm sorry, and I know that won't fix things, but I have to try. I want to fix things. I know you probably don't care but I do. I was an ass. I screwed up. I have to fix it. I was the absolute worst person and I want you to know that I regret all of it." Brendon paused to breathe. Patrick spoke in stead.
"It's okay, I forgive you. I did a long time ago."
"W-why?" Brendon was shocked after everything he did. Patrick shouldn't have forgiven him so easy.
"Because, you're my best friend. As much as I tried I could never hate you. I was mad. But I never hated you. I forgave as soon as it happened." Patrick was crying. Brendon too. Patrick had his best friend back.
