Year 5
Elise had her back turned against Draco, shaking her head and grumbling.
"Elise, please!" Draco pleaded.
What was he pleading for you ask? Well, that requires a little back story wouldn't you say?
Flashback to last year, you know the big Triwizard Tournament. Of course that comes with a Yule Ball as well, and before you wonder; yes, Elise and Draco went together. It did not end well, though. But besides that point, this was the year that Elise first came into contact with the Dark Lord himself. He gave her a task to really secure her to be on his side. With some help of her father, against his wishes, and Barty Crouch who was disguised as Professor Moody, she managed to get Harry Potter's name into the Goblet of Fire. She had wrote to her mother that she no longer wished to spend summers with her, as it would put her into danger, and has now grown up enough to live with her father. So over the summer before her fifth year, she was branded with a Dark Mark. You could say it was an early 15th birthday wish. She was more than happy though. Except, she was not allowed to tell Draco. Not until he had become branded himself. Back to the present.
Elise glanced down at her left arm, it was aching with pain, as it would for awhile since it was still so new. Her messy hair was thrown all over the place. The corridor they were in just so happened to be where the Room of Requirement was. She was trying to get Draco to go away so she could use it.
"Elise, talk to me. Please." Draco begged. He was staring at the back of her head, holding back tears. He didn't understand what was wrong, where he went wrong. Elise had turned a cold shoulder to him since the beginning of this school year. He thought he had mended things after the Yule Ball...he was just a frightened boy who was madly in love with Elise Jane Snape.
"Draco. I said go away." The words croaked out of her throat, her voice cracking on away. She didn't even want to look at him. Draco shook his head and started walking towards her. She threw up a hand and Draco was blasted back 5 feet. He got up quickly and gave her one last glance before running away. She turned around to make sure he had gone for sure and paced back and forth 3 times before the door appeared and she entered the room she asked for. She loved that she could disappear into this room any time she wanted when she didn't want to deal with any other people. She looked around the unorganized room with all the shelves of many different items. All with history behind them. She started walking along, searching for a certain item. She violently whipped her head when she heard the door open. She saw her father walking in with Draco. Elise narrowed her eyes before making a run for an area she knew she could hide in, but not before she was frozen in place.
"There is no point in trying to hide." Her father's voice boomed. She is unfrozen and turns around to face him and Draco. Draco was looking at her with a pained face, and she knew he didn't go to him for help.
"Father." Elise's voice was trying so hard not to disappear. She had caught some sort of cold that was affecting her voice. "What are you-"
But he cut her off. "No, what are you doing in here, my dear? You know it is past curfew, and I hate to take away points from your own house, but Mr. Malfoy here was running like a mad man."
She shot a glare at Draco. "I was just getting some extra practice of some spells I've been working on."
Draco glances down to the floor, he couldn't bare looking at how awfully ill Elise truly looked.
