"Okay, new places. New faces," Jay mutters as he walks to his new school.
He had moved from California, to Ohio in what felt like two minutes. Though, he was ready to venture in and try to make some new friends.
The moment he walked in, he new it'd probably be hard to fit in. Everyone had their places. There were the nerds, jocks, preps, and even some greasers.
He sees a few jocks, roughing up a kid with dirt blonde hair, blue eyes, and geeky glasses that were duct taped in the middle.
"What did I do, Brian?" He asks as he's pushed up against the locker.
"You're just a big nerd!" He says with his arm at the guy's neck.
"C'mon man, please!" He says being choked out.
"Yo, dude what's your problem?" Jay says pushing Brian away.
"The fuck you say to me?"
"What did he do? I sure as hell didn't see him do anything!'
"I will post you into the ground, little boy!"
"Bring it on, meatbrain!"
Brian lunges at Jay, and takes a swing at his face. Jeremy dodges the fist, and puts Brian into a chokehold. A teacher runs over and separates them immediately.
"What is the meaning of this!?" The teacher asks.
"He was bullying that kid!" Jay says pointing at Chris.
"Get up, Brian! You have a lot of explaining to do," he says taking Brian to the principle's office.
"Hey, thanks a lot," the boy says.
"Anytime, I'm Jeremy," he says shaking his hand.
"Chris. Hey, first period doesn't start for another 15 minutes, why don't you come meet my friends."
"Yeah, that sounds good," Jay says following Chris.
Present Day
Jay lead Ash to the basement, he still couldn't believe Chris was dead. They walked in, the group immediately asked them questions.
"It's not that good up there," Jay says.
"Where the hell is Chris?!" Matt asks.
"The thing just ripped him apart, right infront of her," Jay says pointing at Ashley.
"Oh my god, Ash I'm so sorry-
"I'm fine, Sam!" She yells.
"What about that flamethrower guy?" Jess asks.
"No sign of him, probably dead too," Jay says.
"God dammit!" Mike says.
Sam picks up the guy's bag, finding a book. It has info all about the wendigos that the guy must have wrote himself.
"What does it say, Sam?" Mike asks.
"It says, they can't see you if you don't move. They're weak to fire, and bites aren't infectious. It also says that the maximum amount of time it takes to turn in one hour!"
"Okay, that's useful," Matt says.
"Are these all the exits?" Mike asks looking around.
"Yeah, why?" Beth asks.
"I'm looking for another way out."
"No, Mike we should stay right here, until dawn," Matt says.
"Yeah, like a present with a little bow on top, ready to be ripped apart by that fucking thing in Christmas morning?"
"People will come for us, Emily and I called for help!"
"We need a plan B, Matt!"
"Mike there's no key for the cable car."
"Josh! He's gotta have it," Mike says putting his hands behind his head.
"Are you positive?" Beth asks.
"I'm gonna get that key right form that thing's god damn bedroom, and then I'm gonna get us all the fuck out of here!"
"I don't know, it may have taken him down to the mines," Jess says. "That thing lives down there."
"Alright, then I'm gonna go down there and get it from him."
Mike walks out, leaving the rest of the group in the basement.

He approached the Sanatorium doors, he went through and locked them. Walking around, he found old equipment from the 1950s. He also found a diary, it had blue butterflies on it. That's when it hit Mike, this was Hannah's.

My leg is broken, I can hear Beth and Jeremy calling my name. I'm too weak to call out, I fell all the way down to a mineshaft.

If any of my friends somehow find this, I know Josh will probably invite you all back. I found Emily, she was crushed by some fucking rock crusher. I had run out of food, I had to. I'm so sorry, Mike. I know you loved her.
"This had to be recently written!" Mike says.
He hears a noise, and out pops Hannah. Her skin was pale, her eyes were milky white, and her teeth were sharp.
