Until Dawn Dead Inside

Isolation

Jay, Matt, Jess, Sam, Beth and Ash

"I don't think we can stay here," Jay says.
"Why not?" Matt asks.
"That thing just ripped Chris's fucking head off! And it's in the lodge!"
"Where are we gonna go?!"
"We need to get Mike, he doesn't know what he's going up against!"
"Jay's right. We need to go get Mike, them find a safe place to hide until rescue comes," Beth says siding with Jay.
"Guys! You can't be serious!" Matt says.
"I'm sorry, Matt, he's right," Sam says.
"I'm with Jay," Ash says still sniffling.
"Matt, he's right. Listen to us," Jess says.
"Fine, let's go," Matt reluctantly says.

They leave the basement, following Mike's footsteps.

Mike and Hannah

"Hannah!" Mike says, shocked out of his mind.
"Mike?" She says.
"Hannah, Jesus Christ what the hell happened to you?!"
"I don't know, I'm becoming one of those things."
"Oh my god, how long do you have?"
"I'd say about 30 minutes."

The Group

"Guys, my leg's gimping out," Jay says, leaning against a wall.
"Well, we need to get Mike as fast as we can!" Sam says.
"Just go, I'll be fine."
"No, I'll stay with you. You guys go one ahead," Beth says sitting next to him.
"Are you guys sure?" Matt asks.
"We'll be fine, Matt just be careful for them."

The group walks off, while Beth sits her head on Jay's shoulder.
"You know, you don't need to wait for me, Beth."
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Because I'm slowing you guys down."
"I'm not leaving you behind, no matter what!" She says wrapping her arms around him.
He puts his head back, starting to doze off. Beth wakes him up.
"Don't go to sleep, boy we got work to do!"
He just mocks her in a playful tone. She smiles and kisses him.

Mike

"Okay, follow me. Maybe we can save you!"
"Mike, it's over for me."
"No, Hannah. We can help you!"
"Mike, just leave me. You need to help the others."
"Hannah, come on!"
"Mike i'm-
She starts to hold her chest. Her nails start to get longer, her hair falls out.
"Mike run!" She says trying to restrain herself.
She starts to shake, as Mike runs off.

Jay and Beth

"Okay, I'm ready. Let's go," Jay says getting up.
"You positive?" Beth asks him concerned.
"Let's go, babe."
She gets up, following him to where the rest of the group went.
"They must've sent down this manhole," Beth says.
"How do you know?"
"Probably because of the arrow and the message saying 'Come this way Jay and Beth'."
"True. Wait, look at this!" He says pointing to a hole next to the Sanatorium doors.
"It must lead to the Sanatorium!"
"How'd they not notice this?"
"I don't know, we need to find Mike. Come on!"
"Wait, Jay we should meet up with the rest of the group."
"What if Mike's in there, he needs our help!"
"I'm meeting up with the others, Jay."
"Beth come on, I don't wanna leave you behind."
"Well you're gonna have to," she says going down the manhole.

Jeremy sighs, and enters the hole into the Sanatorium.

Beth

It was dark, she was scared out of her mind. She knew she should have just gone with Jay, but he was gone. She walks to a fork in the road.
"Help me!" She hears.
"Hello?" Beth says.
"Hey!" The voice says.
It sounds like Sam, is it?
"Sam?"
"Help me, please!"

Jeremy

"I don't know why they call this place a Sanatorium, it's fucking disgusting!" He whispers to himself.
Jay walks around, not seeing anyone or anything. That was until he saw a wendgo, it was dawning a blue butterfly tattoo. The same as Hannah's.
"Hannah!" He says as the creature dives for him.

Matt, Jess, Ash and Sam

"Do you think they're anywhere near us?" Matt asks looking behind him.
"I'm sure they're fine, Matt," Sam says.
"Maybe we should go back," Jess says.
"Well, we're gonna have to," Ash says looking at the rock wall blocking their path.

"No, I can climb it," Matt says.
"You sure?" Sam asks.
"I've done it before, trust me."
"Be careful, baby," Jess says hugging him.
"Don't you worry about me," he says cracking a half smile. "Get back to the lodge, we'll be there as fast as we can."

Beth

Beth investigated the voice, dropping down a small ledge and walking towards the noise. She hears banging, and then sees a tarp door. She reaches for the latch lock, but is hesitate to open.
She looks over, then looks back down. She makes the decision to leave it alone, and rejoin the others.

She finds Sam, Jess and Ash. Felling happy to rejoin them.
"Wait, where's Jay?" Sam asks.
"He found a hole by the Sanatorium doors, he went inside."
"Okay, let's get back to the lodge," Jess says walking towards the exit.

Jeremy and Mike

Mike shoots Hannah away from Jay before she can get him.
"Jay, come on!" He yells.
They run to a door, Mike shoots it open and gets inside. Jay barricades it, keeping Hannah from getting in.
"Holy shit! Thanks Mike!" He says panting.
"Don't thank me till we're out of here," he says handing Jay a handgun.

They run to the door right before the exit, that's when four wendigos jump out of their cages.
"Shit, Mike let's go!" Jay says running to the door.
Before Mike can get in, a wendigo throws huge pieces of board at the door, blocking it.
"Shit, Mike get out of there!"
"Just go! I'll be alright!" He says running towards the other door.
"Mike! Shit!" Jay says, and runs out the exit door.

Matt

Matt climbs up the rocks, getting to the top was a breeze compared to before.
"Hah! I beat you!"

Still in the mines, Matt walks up a small staircase leading towards the Sanatorium's back entrance. The mine shakes, and rocks fall on the stairs. They almost crush Matt, but he gets out of the way in time. He runs to the edge and jumps off as the rocks take away the rest of the path.

"Holy fuck!" He says getting up.
He approaches the door, and hears noises coming from the other side. Then out comes Jay, fighting off a wendigo.
"Stay out!" He yells trying to close the door before it gets in.
It doesn't work, and the monster jumps in, lunging on Jay. Matt finds a spade.
"Hey! Slim, over here!" He yells bashing the monster over the head.

It gets off Jay, and let's out it's well known screech. Jay and Matt run away, the mine is starting to cave in at this point. Rocks are crashing down. Jay turns around shooting a gas barrels and blowing up the wendigo, and making the mine go on it's last limb. They escape as the mine finally caves in.
