Nala’s POV
I am knackered and I can’t believe he is as good as me, that I won by the skin of my teeth. I get greeted by my cheering class mates while watching him walk over to his group. I can’t help but smile at everyone as they talk about the race and how neck and neck we were.
My happy moment comes to an end when I see Luke swing for Jesse, I hate the guy but he had only walked over there and gets a punch for Luke. Jesse doesn’t hit him back or even move away as Luke aims another blow, he keeps going a few more times before shouting at him.
“SUBMIT.” What the hell?
“NO.” I don’t think that was the answer he wanted as he punches Jesse straight in the face, causing blood to fall from his lips. Ever he has cut his lip or got a bad knock to the teeth.
“Jesse submit to him and Luke get off him.” Sir growls out at them looking angry. “NOW!”
Luke lets him go with a shove, what a dick.
“Jesse, do it now and then leave this lesson.” I hear Sir say.
Jesse looks around him and his eyes land on me, his eyes move up until he is looking me directly in the eye. We lock eye contact for a few seconds but then he bows to Luke and storms off across the field. Well that was weird.
“I will find you in a while.” Sir calls out to him, before looking at Luke. “A word?” I hear him say quietly.
The two of them walk away but I could still hear them slightly.
“He can defy you, mouth back at you and ignore you. Why is that?” I hear Mr Williams question him.
“Look, Sir. Can we continue this another time, I have to go see you Alpha.” I have no idea what he meant by Alpha apart from the fact that it’s the leader of a pack of wolves, he is a weirdo. I tune out of their strange conversation and head off to get changed; I don’t have long till I have to go home now, schools almost over.
I change quickly after showering and then check my phone.
‘2 new messages’. It read.
I open up the first one…

Hey honey, we r having guests round 4 tea. I have left some money at reception 4 you to collect, with that money you will need to get:
2 packs of salted peanuts,
2 cauliflowers,
a packed of carrots,
a tub of double cream
and a packet of stuffing.

I sigh out loud, great now I gotta go shopping. I give her a quick reply saying ok and that I’d see her later.
“You alright?” Stevie asks.
“Yeah, gotta go shopping is all. And its not clothes shopping.” I reply with a frown.
