Luke’s POV
It was now Thursday; almost four days since I had last had P.E and I had a feeling Mr. Williams was going to ask about the whole fight on Monday. Great.
I walk on to the field with the boys and our new friends, Dan and Johny.
“So what’s happening in today’s lesson?” I ask them.
“ROUNDERS!” They both say together.
“Sweet! How do you make the teams fair?”
“Pick faces, we have two team captains and they choose who they want. As most of us are, different… the game gets very competitive.” Johny replies.
It’s not long until I’m at backstop and throwing to first post, getting a kid out. Next up is Nala, I smirk at her, (she will be easy to get out, she’s a girl!) which she returns with one of her own.
“Did I mention I’m good at this? Oh and don’t think that just because I’m a girl I wont stay in!”
“Yeah we’ll see about that.” I reply as the ball comes this way.
“NO BALL!” Sir calls.
I throw it back to Dan and again he bowels to Nala.
“NO BALL, HALF A ROUNDER.”
“COME ON DAN, aim for my hands.” I moan.
The ball come towards us again as she swings.
Crack.
That familiar noise you get when the ball and bat meet. Damn, she actually is good, I think as the ball soars through the air. Landing far away.
She gives a wink before running to first and stumping the post, continuing to second.
“GET THE BALL!” I shout. “STARIGHT TO FOURTH.” I add as she stumps second.
The ball comes in my direction as I start running to fourth; I catch it as Nala stumps third. Her hand loses the post, signalling that she’s gonna run on, so I run at the post as she does.
Both bat and ball hit the post in sync, does that mean she is in or out?
“IN.” Sir calls. She does a victory dance over to her team and they all cheer.

“Well played game guys.” Some lad from my team says. The game ended in a draw. I have to admit, that was a pretty epic game and they have some outstanding players.
